This highjacked building is located between Olivia Road and Lily Ave in Berea.
This experience was nothing short of terrifying. The building, devoid of any security, was littered with garbage and debris. Most shockingly, there were human bodies in the basement, a grim testament to the lawlessness and danger that pervades such places. These are places were unfortunate souls come to end their suffering.
The psychological pressure of navigating this environment was immense. Our lives were at constant risk; the threat of robbery or even death loomed over us. This is not just a story of urban decay but a stark reminder of the human cost and the perilous conditions faced by those living in these places. The spectator thinks this was safe to explore, but it wasn't for anyone. These videos always have a very high unexpectancy ratio. Anything can happen.
The uncomfortable mindset, body language, and the feeling of being drained were palpable. We wanted to get out of there. Slava, David and Alvaro were traumatized by the experience even days after the shooting. This was difficult on all of us and that's why we ask the city to solve these situations ASAP.
Imagine living in these buildings and go through this every single day of your life.
Vusi was shot a week later after the video shoot, while trying to steal a car battery, and he is currently in the hospital.

Wow ... i used to live here in Berea .... It would be helpful if you told people which street you are on so they can avoid it... Like Joel street, Abel rd etc in this case... Are you also going to go to that tent on Abel rd... I believe it is a church now ... I used t o live in that house ... I would love to see you do some video on that...

Remember that the other materials from the building multi levels structure is to be redevelop as multi level structure in Supingstad RSA ' as well as umphanlanga largest housing complex that has to federally decommissioned by nuclear regulation law also is to be redevelop in Supingstad RSA*

Sometimes, we are the cause of our own problems. I was born and bred in Soweto, a lovely mall called Maponya mall, which would have been better for local employment and reducing travel costs for having to go to town (JHB CBD) was built for the people of Pimville and surrounding areas. The mall was destroyed and vandalised by it's own people within a very short space of time because I got my I.D there back in 2014 to write my final exams for my Matric. So, before we blame anyone for our own problems, we need to heal as a race and take responsibility for our own actions first.
