Thanks for the update on your big ten guitars. Even nothing is something. Congrats on another great show. Every time I hear the James-Mitchell song, I like it better. Your impromptu stuff tonight was a freaking bonfire! I hope you and yours are well.
As someone who is still waiting to their first guitar in the mail (Amazon is late 😒), I cannot wait to get even a fraction good enough to play as well as you. Going to use Justin Guitar’s online course to get started. Seems to be a pretty extensive course.
I left a review about my Monsoon just now. I called out the blatant misrepresentation and offered my perspective and experience with the monsoon. Hope it helps. I also added pics
Just missed your live impromptu again ... Will listen a bit later... More interesting than watching paint dry or waiting for hair to grow on a shiny globe top ..your last riffin it up was awesome
That's a great thin neck. Although, Warmoth standard is 20mm. Most - if nearly all - of the cheap guitars have >20mm at first fret. Have no idea why. Monsoon has Alnico active pickups? Who else sells those? Were the frets level and no sharp fret ends?
I just received my Grote LesPaul. Beautiful, well made, but weighs in at just under 9 lbs. Also have a Firefly Les Paul. Can't beat the price on either.
I had the Grote SG and the Firefly SG , both awesome and well built guitars but the Grote weighed about double of the Firefly. The Firefly was more comparable to my Epiphone SG Pro G400 weight wise....
That depends on brand and quality , a Firefly for instance comes pretty well setup without much tinkering. But there's a lot of lemons out there that might need fret leveling etc. The majority mainly need a slight truss rod adjustment and intonation , and 9 times out of 10 the tuners usually need upgrading because those are normally the weakest point on under $200 guitars. If you aren't sure just look on YT , there's plenty of tutorials on just about everything guitar related , good luck ✌️
@@thebaldshredder Very true but diy kits like this make it pretty easy for people who aren't even that mechanically inclined. Even if they screw it up , it's useful to practice repairing or knowing how to fix problems with their guitars....
Most of the time fret leveling is needed. One thing to note about the firefly guitars. They are great but some luthiers don't like working on stainless steel frets and it will cost you extra. Hard on the hands and tools.
Sadly, I noticed the same in ALL these guitar channels....they really just wanna play. That's cool, but I'm a beginner, and I want information. Finally, there is no way to appreciate the play through any of your devices. Without the amp, what are you hearing?
No, I didn't say that I really enjoy watching you play. I was just wondering how long it was going to be because I have an appointment tomorrow morning.

Missed the live, but hey, guy. Stoked to see the guitars!
Amaz liar: 1st language may not be English, and is using "plastic" instead of something such as "imprecise/imperfect."
Also, want a standing desk like that. Big Time.
Lester Mitchell is my own personal hero. He's A Guy.

You can use your ring doorbell to see your guitars arive and how the package is treated.

What pick you do use? Have you ever tried other brands & materials? Just an idea. If you haven't done yet.
Dunlop derlin with beveled edges, 1.14 mm.
what is your rig or set up when playing during videos?
He was actually writing a review on the Barbie Movie acoustic guitar sold at Walmart for $19.99, lol.
When you buy these under $200 guitars, how much of a set up do they require before you can actually start playing them?

It varies from guitar to guitar. Some require nothing, while others require quite a bit. You never know until you get it.

Jam on bro! Sorry I missed the stream. The headstock looks like a foot.
You could put a shoe on it! LOL
Is it Valiant guitars from Ukraine? They're hand-made and $3 to $4 thousand dollars, and very nice looking instruments.
Sounds like someone needs a Jethro Tull CD.
Hello Shredder how's it hanging
I’m guessing Duesenberg
Can you shred with one string?
yes
How long are you going to play not saying that I don't like it but, man
So you don't want to hear me play? You only want me to talk?
Sadly, I noticed the same in ALL these guitar channels....they really just wanna play. That's cool, but I'm a beginner, and I want information. Finally, there is no way to appreciate the play through any of your devices. Without the amp, what are you hearing?

The BALD shredder is IN DA' HOUSE
I played for less than 5 minutes and talked for like an hour.
