    Thanks for the I information on this. Bought a Silverline vacuum pump from eBay and getting to grips with it now on my MTS 1200. (The cheapest were Chinese suppliers and never quite sure what and if anything will turn up.) The Silverline pump came with several adapters to fit the bleed nipple, didn’t get on very well with the one that should fit, but just done the front brakes fitting the plastic tube to the bleed nipple directly and much easier. Might try doing the clutch again now I’ve got the hang of it.

      Great it worked out for you Simon. Sometimes the simple option is best.

    Nice video. It could be good to upload a video on how to do it without a bleed pump (because it’s as quick as with a pump, it’s just a different technique) for people that don’t have one.
    Anyway, the only thing I’d do differently would be to put the towel first and then open your fluid reservoir as sometimes a drop can fall from the lid and it ALWAYS fall on the worst spot ever...
    Otherwise great video! Thanks, and thanks for the pump link man.

    When you did the master cylinder, did you wait till you saw the new fluid and no bubbles like the other?

    • @DarrylSheather
      @DarrylSheather  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yep but it's really quick as you are taking it straight from the master cylinder.

    Why not just pump the clutch or brake lever? No need for an external vacuum pump

    Brake fluid for clutch fluid?

    • @DarrylSheather
      @DarrylSheather  4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Yes, it's a hydraulic system the same as the brakes.

      The seller I purchased from doesn't have them currently. Although they are a fairly generic Chinese pump kit from eBay. Like this www.ebay.com.au/itm/Vacuum-Brake-Bleeder-Kit-Vacuum-Pump-with-Gauge-Air-Pressure-Fluid-Bleed-Tool-AU/254021478689?_trkparms=ispr%3D1&hash=item3b24dc2921:g:4FgAAOSwclldjC10&enc=AQAEAAACcIQvEcHUrT7nmUC3yY5qbPyaBN1nJEDYW8MyypsJPgXKBMsgxzC%2B4AcufPIrJqKaACaZH6fqKqrk%2Fizy1GVZ2FrZczJwze9DhfQsAUab7FOEWCGR7Hi1uwfLoG1xy%2BNmcfjC7v6Uzq4e2wj05WVyZbvJhT3tj351626T2DQp8%2Fxwd6qIPeMSqYPXvWeIMiYM%2B7kYqqVT%2FZb%2FvQgh4q%2FYxV8hvWFsIHT%2BqsV69jPcdSAgJ5kF9WyTyAzh5xXNJAN0C9gtUp5zKnoHTjxOQUkwlUhX18cUMuN%2Fc8Yyu93XnTuvpS8YRBy3JttZf6E9KJLmdrfMCwABhOrVHgi4bUCM4xO6ZFptaYiU8fP4TdVV6HtJIKnJfxJGKlV9lZ9G6jVt6mTmuT9RJ6yXYwchZXS6CVbo4kbVTzub%2B1%2FfBkCPog5lapsTadOHcavRJdCQAXvUCw6%2FEAtLE1Rk%2F6cPeFqhkAYT5bkrQOj9UhBkBQqIpkZT2c7yJmOTght98oB1HN3pABUg5fjLaSll3AP2JWf4sstKo%2By2Z7fpAevzGx1Hmc7xyVTNWWOclHxvRU%2FT%2BIBi2DlVwupvPcqpG1u2p00GahiuN2M9k%2F8jhJiG9KqNaionyXNGvGyTp91aAScsj4NJ4PM6FBXsSIFVYRDbLf8icKVUnp6SRCxMQtkAGQhJVAcUlT3llzppnUf89Fo2vV9pAxuIvnR%2B3fsI0tIJRGl7S9tre6Yyl%2FJd0zw%2FAO8qxiWg%2Fz6M6PCqVdbkPFTwUHIL58j7ILTMsRN8uIpsLXqClJBVxBolDbdFPTxukAAwZv8pVzp3Zg4oqzMzFYsGQ%2FgbAQ%3D%3D&checksum=2540214786891ada73c723c444e58c71803d6831127a
