As far as Call of Duty goes.. I’ll never buy another one of their titles again, even if it’s “good”.
Dice,ea and the whole gaming industry is totally different now. It’s worse in my opinion…. I think that a large part of the battlefield fan base is older than most other fps communities. That’s why I think a lot of the older games are still populated. I just hope they have seen that in the last couple years some more simple battlefield like games have had success, like battlebit, squad and others. The battlefield formula is pretty simple they know the formula. I hope we can get something like battlefield portal and have them actually support it and add content to it. It probably won’t happen but here’s to hoping. I know some people are making battlefield indies but it would be nice to have the actual thing back… sorry for rambling.. good vid and I like the channel
Since at some point during the development of BF1, DICE has focused on hiring based on DEI instead of ability, experience and competence. DICE has no interest in changing this way of operating and therefore Battlefield will never return to form.

Glad to see you back. Any thoughts on the new Delta Force Hawk OPs game coming out. My thoughts on the new battlefield game are it needs destruction need to have regular uniforms that differentiate the different classes and have the different languages like in battlefield 4. 64 players oh did I say the need to bring back the classes with set weapons for the different classes

Never in my life have i encountered a more whiny and surprisingly unaware community than Battlefield's one.
They will talk about "old Dice" like the studio actually once had a stable workforce. Just try and read the credits for each frostbite game - You gonna be very surprised to see the amount of people who were gone in a matter of one game. If we are talking about certain old dudes from long gone Refractor era, I would like to remind you that some of them worked on both release versions of BFV and BF2042. The old guard was directly responsible for both, but I guess they get a pass, because they developed your favorite game? Cool

Wokeness and live service had nothing to do with bad decisions made by management. The absolute shitshow that is EA's and Dice's management departments are to be blamed for every single stupid thing made in the last 10 years. And they aren't changing as far as i am aware, even if Zampella has far more power than old Gustavsson ever had. Just because Dice aren't capable of sustaining 3-month content drop cycle (which was enabled by BF1 community btw, I hope y'all happy), doesn't mean live service won't work for the game. And it surely doesn't mean that return to DLC will be "like the good ol' days". If they bring back Premium, you ARE GOING TO PAY 60$ for 5-6 maps a year. Awesome deal, right?
So called "real BF fans" are always some fanatical followers of one particular BF game (including myself btw). You have no idea what you actually want, that's why you will never get a game that will satisfy you. Dice are to be blamed for this, because they managed to create 5 distinctly different games in 10 years. But community is also to be blamed for always ignoring this fact and acting like it's normal for a franchise to look like mess of unrelated products. Because it's always the latest game that is "not battlefield". Give it 3-5 years and old 2042 community (including myself) will turn the agenda and the game will be viewed the same way Hardline is right now. The cycle will continue. And people will still complain about "game is too cod" or "it lacks the soul" or some other similar bs

Not sure I agree. I played every battlefield main title from bf Vietnam. The first one I disliked was 5 and then 2042 was night and day just absolutely awful.
@@c.m5043 So you were fine with making Bf on a small scale, fine with introducing CoD gamemodes and mechanics, fine with non-military setting, fine with overcasualization, but BFV and 2042 were too much? Cool, but how does it not prove my point?
@@thebigsam not sure what you are referring to. I actually just remember hardline existed! I only played it for an hour and realised it was just more battlefield 4 and I was already enjoying that too much. I don't think it needs this much thinking into really. I always loved Battlefield games, but when V came out it's the first one I ever just went off within a week or two. Then 2042 I genuinelly felt was cheap and like a step back from the others. I don't think there is a big agenda or secret society trying to hate a product for no reason. I genuinelly did not enjoy the last two games, I'm just a dude and that's my opinion. If my opinion is mirrored by many other people then perhaps there is some truth in it 🤷🏼♂️
