I've only listened to a handful of your songs so far....is it too early to say that you're my favorite producer, EVER? Every layer of this is just so exquisitely composed. So many layers, so intricate and yet not over-done. I keep throwing the word "masterpiece" around while I'm listening to your songs. Am I wrong though? It seems I only find one masterpiece a year...and then I find Animadrop. You deserve to be in the company of modern day composers like Hanz Zimmer and Clint Mansell. Fantastic work.

This song has serious Contra - Boss Battle theme - vibes around 5:56 I keep expecting it to hit that last note in the progression but it doesn't except for a couple of times. It's so cool.
Great as usual animadrop, but something about the mix in the drop seems a little bit off. It sounds like the bass has too much white noise or something, but it's hard to tell.
Animadrop I listened again and I think it is the bass. I think it is a little too dirty sounding, although i know you have used similar basses in your other tracks. With it ducking out when the percussion hits, the sound when you hear it again is not very pleasant and a bit gritty for my tastes.
I definitely think I know what you mean but that is done on purpose, the grittyness is right for my taste but its totally valid if you don't like it that way. I will keep your comment in mind for the future though, just so I don't overdo it with the grittyness. :)

To add on, this is more noticable when the bass is at a lower pitch.
