I'm calling BS on any IQ test that assumes knowledge of any kind not provided in the test itself. Literacy or even knowing letters from the latin alphabet shouldn't be a prerequisite for the test. These tests are meant to solvable by kids in Africa who only know Zulu.

@@JohnDoe-nm5le actual genuine iq tests dont exist. taking iq tests is a skill that you can practise and yes that includes mensas shitty tests. iq scores while as an idea make sense are in reality highly inaccurate. determining a persons 'real' IQ would take a lot of time and effort since stuff like education will always be a way too big factor.
@@hunzukunz do you think all iq tests are just puzzles like in the video? there are certain things that iq test measure that cannot be learned like working memory, which i believe has a pretty high correlation with iq. digit span, visual memory, etc. are things that you can use to test for iq when tested together with things like problem solving, processing speed, and whatever else. working memory is something that you cannot improve.
furthermore, there are plenty of studies that demonstrate that people with high iqs also have better processes that occur in their brain. i.e they have greater neurite density, lower dendrite connectivity due to higher efficiency of cell communication, corticol thickness, glucose uptake, etc. etc. of things i don't remember but researchers are aware of.
so, would i be more likely to believe some random dumbass on the internet making a claim that these things aren't real just because their ego won't allow it, or would i listen to neuroscientists who study the brain for a living and have published a lot of research about the relationship between intelligence, iq, and the structure of the brain?

Adam already ruined IQ tests. It's not accurate so you don't have to stress yourself with it. You're a genius.
He probably would have gotten over 140 in the first one if he hadn't been streaming anyway. When you're in "entertainer" mode it's harder to go full bigbrain, and when you're narrating/explaining out loud you'll naturally answer slower (and some of these tests measure speed).
The inventory and accounting question is Neil. David is the only one working 4 days meaning that Neil does not work 4 days. ie he has either monday or friday off BUT ALSO a day off in the week.

I took an iq test when I was in elementary, it is paper and time based, They gives us a whole fucking book with 100+ questions, maybe even 200. I answered pretty far and scored 124, I would say I am smart, but that's only because the rest of the class scored like 80 and 90. There is 1 boy who I can say he is a friend and rival in class. He gets 136 and I felt so defeated, How foolish I was thinking to be smart when I am only comparing to the 80-90 kids, instead of respecting, I was angry and felt a huge amount of jealousy towards him and at last I am avoiding him because I always felt back this feeling of Inferior and being lower from someone. I hope you all out there don't make an idiot decision because you get carried away like I was.

An IQ test just one (of many) types of measure AMONG a large number of people performing the same task. You could literary just make your own IQ test in whatever task you want. Literary anything. Even Among Us that gives an indication of your social IQ. So I challenge you to create a test and then invite 1000 or 10000 friends/people/viewers to try outperform you :).
Social IQ isn't a thing. It's more a reflection of your personality/mental health. I get what you are saying though. I guess you could try to quantify a social score from an Among Us experiment. That would be fun at the very least.

but to be honest i think IQ tests should be more like the first one he posted since those are more universal, i mean if you don't have access to good education you won't be able to solve the problems that need education to be solved with, but with the pattern IQ test everyone can do it and test their IQ the same way, no matter if you had access to education or not...

Probably you were smart for a 13 year old but for a 15 year old you're just above average, and you should take IQ test results with a deviation of 15

This iq test is based on the Phoenician alphabet, which is the most common one for languages, but not all languages use it, e.g. Arabic, Japanese, Hindu, etc. I haven't watched the video fully, so I can't say entirely what the test is based on, but I can say the first couple questions don't actually measure intelligence accurately for people who don't know a language using the Phoenician alphabet.

My favorite part of these quizzes is when I think about how they are pretty much completely unusable for measuring a blind person's intelligence lmfao. This just sounds like a problem with that test being difficult to design and administer, not that the results are necessarily meaningless for sighted people.
Weird conclusion to make that is riddled in logical fallacy. Just because it isn't accurate for a select group of people doesn't take away the validity or usefulness of the test. Just... don't administer it to those people.

One of the most important factors in having a high IQ is caring whether or not you have a high IQ.
These questions aren't particularly difficult, being able to pass the test quickly is all about maintaining the relevant information in your quick access memory.
