Ray Liotta was so underrated and seemed like a cool guy
Underrated? He was Never Underrated.
I don’t know. “Underrated” doesn’t seem like a word he’d appreciate being described with. Many people LOVE this actor and very much enjoy his talented performances. I’d say he’s pretty highly rated!
That's right bro he deserves one oscar
No offense to the late actor but I would say if anything he was overrated. He wasn't really cast as Henry in Goodfellas because he was a top tier actor but because he was perfect for the purposes of serving as a relatable avatar for the viewer.
It's a great movie but he does seem like a fish out of water amongst the hoodlums; he's not really believable as a thug. He seems more like the sort of person hoodlums would mess with than hang with.
That was intentional of course because he was intended to be someone the audience could relate to but so far as the cast is concerned he was the weakest link in a very strong chain.
One of the greatest films ever made and Ray was perfectly cast as Henry Hill.
Ray Liota looked like he was on the verge of tears.
It's the lighting, and he was old
Well, older.
He is talking like I do after a heavy night of drinking.
He was always like that, it was weird
To be fair, he always looked like that.
Naw it had a huge effect on his life
One of the most underrated actors ever, and such a beautiful looking man.
I really enjoy watching interviews with Ray Liotta; he was a very smart and charismatic guy, and he had that ability to really draw you in when he spoke; that’s something only a select few of actors can do
I’m so honored I was offered the opportunity to write a screenplay for Ray Liotta and his longtime friend Josh Taylor. The premise was dealing with a serial killer who finds his victims through episodes of road rage when they are not courteous drivers. My friend who knew Ray, said Ray loved the script and that they needed to get financial backing for this project. Unfortunately, it never happened. Like I said, I am still honored having the opportunity to write for an icon of Ray Liotta’s stature.
How did you get in the position to write a script that high up?? Sounds great btw
Sounds satisfying. Kind of rooting for the serial killer. Hate bad drivers lol

Rest In Peace Ray Liotta. One of my favorite actors.
Ray Liotta just had this sort of down to earth vibe whenever he is talking
You get a sense that what he says is really what he thinks
No playing around how he feels about something

You can't teach it, can't coach it, but this legend had it

I heard him say in real life, he wasnt a fighter or a tough guy. I think he was a sweetheart...❤❤❤
"What? As a Rat?" the term he used showed how he truly felt.
He was being sarcastic. He’s an actor not a mobster. He made the joke “any mob guys watching” before he said it was disgusting…he clearly like Henry as a person and mobster people are scum.
@@Lordgorbon it seems like he's about to snigger the word No, before he catches himself and says something that is more ambiguous for everyone, turning it into a joke won't anger anyone, very diplomatic answer. I think he probably got approached by mob guys, probably hung out with them a lot. Weather that's truly how he felt inside or if that's for his "mob friends" we'll never know. Also I heard he fancied himself for a real tough guy, so I can imagine him trying to relate to gangsters
@@Lordgorbonstill is a rat move. Dude made a living hurting people but he secretly sold drugs implicating all his friends and once his ass was on the line he threw all the people he cared about under the bus.
Ultimately ratting on friends or not, Henry Hill was a sack of shit human but him telling on his friends showed his true colors.
I can't say I would've done differently in that position, but also I never decided to make my living extorting others and trying to profit off of substance abuse.

One of the best performances of all times. Ray was perfect
Rip to both of these amazing men ❤
Ray had such a positive energy about him youthful and vibrant even as he aged. He always had a larger than life presence in all his films. Martin Scorsese really had a great eye for choosing the perfect people for the roles in his films with Ray it was a perfect fit and balance that movie out, and I especially loved how he had Ray's character narrate the entire movie so in a sense he was the leading character in the movie which I think is lost on most people because of DeNiro and Pesci's presents in the film...but anyways, it's so difficult to face that he's gone. I understand we all have to go sometime, but he left us sadly before his time. RIP
