Just a normal suggestion keep sand gravel levels low as after sometime the white sand turns blackish so u can replace it and for datnoid and stingray pls follow proper diet and proper ph levels like proper precise levels had stingray and datnoid for 4 yrs

Hi bro I also have an aquarium with 8X2.5X1.5 Feet with an external a sump filter and I have it for last 5-6 years, but for last 1-1.5 years I live in another city and now that aquarium is with my parents, and they are not able to maintain it and since it been 5 years I am changing its silicone so can you suggest me a most easy to maintain filter, so my parents can maintain it easily I am thinking of 2 top filters, also some basic setup ideas with just rocks and fake plants to elevate aquarium's look and what kind of fishes can be kept in it, I am thinking of severum, Tinfoil barb, rainbow sharks. Think of it as an open canvas and give me a few suggestions.
