    First gratitude,
    Looking forward to full attention to this episode.
    There is a few minutes before work.
    Practically speeking,This is one of my favorite course sections.
    This quote is embraced openly in the holly instant.
    I can approach this
    teaching effertlessly.
    I can completely lay down ,Charlie everything he knows
    Thinks or wants,
    It's easy !
    Heck it's done when you take a nap .
    It's just openness .
    It is natural for most people spontaneously throughout the day.enyone canbe open to not access or entertain there
    Engagement or opinion.
    For just a moment or two.
    This simple , natural ,desition,to open,
    Without consept
    Openness is peace.
    Energetically peace is boundless light of extention.
    To give is to recieve.
    Extending in the judgless moment is simply natural boundless extending of ones oun nature .
    It's the simple extention of intimacy of ones being.
    It's love loving.
    It's giving all to all.
    Like a star extends light , just effortlessly being its
    Own naturalness.
    No loss only gain beeming the energetics of boundless extention.
    After all you are the light of the world ,
    by the trueth, shinning in you now.

    Lately I am feeling disheartened when I listen these teachings. Keith is great and explains the Course very well but I am realizing how far I am from the peace of God, how attached I am to so many things and mainly people. It seems impossible that I will have the Holy Instant. I guess there's nothing to do besides trusting that I will feel it

    • @acimwithkeith
      @acimwithkeith  หลายเดือนก่อน +10

      "I am far from the peace of God"
      What is that?
      It's a thought.
      You are the peace of God and cannot be apart from it.
      Believing thoughts like this, instead of forgiving them, veils the peace of God that you already are from you.
      You don't have to do anything with your attachments. There's nothing you can do about them.
      You're asked only to be awake in your mind looking at what the mind that isn't you is doing and not judge yourself for it - witness it with no thoughts on what you're witnessing.
      Only this forgiveness allows you to learn What you are in behind thoughts and feelings.
      What you are in behind thoughts and feelings will begin dissolving attachments.
      Dissolving attachments is not your job.
      It's your job to be what is behind thoughts and feelings by doing nothing more than totally forgiving them instead of judging them, which is what you're doing now - judgement instead of forgiveness of your ego.
      Also, you're in the flypaper because you're trying to do or accomplish something instead of what you're actually asked to do which is forgiveness.

    I love these podcasts 💝
    I don't think Keith reads these (or he does but doesn't have time to comment) but I'll ask the question anyway.
    You speak a lot of 'not seeing our brothers/sisters as victims etc but not what we can say in our mind when we are thinking / looking at them. When I am with a brother/sister can I say in my mind 'you are the light of the world' etc ? Not directing the thought to a body but to who they truly are. I find it centres me.

    • @acimwithkeith
      @acimwithkeith  หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      Use right minded thoughts strategically to unstick you from wrong minded thoughts about what you and your brother are and then drop them.
      Your brother and you are the Unknowable Light that is appearing as a meaningless world that is only for forgiveness.
      Use thoughts to come home to seeing your brother without thoughts about him that you learn of yourself what you are outside of thoughts - to know the Salvation that is escape from concepts (thoughts)

    I have heard you say that Jesus' happy dream included a crucifixion, and that the ego is never satisfied with the present moment. There is a part of me that is excited to trust God for new teeth (mine are seemingly falling out at a prodigious rate), but then I think that I should be satisfied with what 'is' now. Is it legitimate to non-judgmentally believe for 'physical' healing all the while realizing that this is an illusion?

    • @Muttivon6
      @Muttivon6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I think you just answered me in another video...

    • @acimwithkeith
      @acimwithkeith  หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      T-26.VI.1. "Anything in this world that you believe is good and valuable and worth striving for can hurt you, and will do so. Not because it has the power to hurt, but just because you have denied it is but an illusion, and made it real. And it is real to you. It is not nothing. And through its perceived reality has entered all the world of sick illusions. All belief in sin, in power of attack, in hurt and harm, in sacrifice and death, has come to you. For no one can make one illusion real, and still escape the rest. For who can choose to keep the ones that he prefers, and find the safety that the truth alone can give? Who can believe illusions are the same, and still maintain that even one is best?"
      The condition of lack and need is grounded in your belief in an illusion of yourself that can lack and be in need.
      The pursuit of things that will "save" you from your lack and need preserves your misidentification as the lacking and needing thing.
      Instead, forgiveness of illusions, instead of grasping at them and holding grievances with them, restores to you your true Identity in the Holy Spirit that is always peaceful and content.
      S-1.III.6." It is not easy to realize that prayers for things, for status, for human love, for external “gifts” of any kind, are always made to set up jailers and to hide from guilt. These things are used for goals that substitute for God, and therefore distort the purpose of prayer. The desire for them is the prayer. One need not ask explicitly. The goal of God is lost in the quest for lesser goals of any kind, and prayer becomes requests for enemies. The power of prayer can be quite clearly recognized even in this. No one who wants an enemy will fail to find one. But just as surely will he lose the only true goal that is given him. Think of the cost, and understand it well. All other goals are at the cost of God."
