Brilliant. Ive just bought a sample set of Jane Iredale mineral makeup and the mineral powder foundation seems pretty good so far as i just wear concealer and powder in summer as a base, and the mineral foundation powder stays on well and is SPF 20. You should try it.

It looked very good, I would probably use that one because i didn’t think it looked to dark at all. I prefer a little color in my foundation because I don’t wear contour & only a little bronzer & little blush. This sounds nice for a lighter weight foundation during Texas summers! I also enjoy using No.7 Airbrush Away tinted skin perfector in the summer. Had to laugh @ the fake tan mishap but I've forgotten to wash hands afterwards before also so think of it as laughing with you...not at you! Currently my fav fake tanner is Loreal Sublime Bronze self tanning water mousse, I've had much more success with this one & it's transfer resistant so no more tanned white towels 🙄 Thanks for the video!

Not sure why any company would release a limited edition foundation product. I understand an eyeshadow palette that you have for a long time but not a product that you would possibly repurchase every month. I wouldn’t purchase for the fact I might fall in love and then poof it’s gone.
From a marketing point of view, you Tracy would be among the minority who actively choose to abstain based on the possibility you could not repurchase if you liked it. From a marketing perspective limiting editions plays straight into the masses fear of missing out, fomo. And also puts a bit of time pressure on a product. If you want to view those mechanisms in play more for yourself, just look into the way for instance Pat McGrath markets her products... There almost everything is “limited edition” and released in small quantities so many actually do miss out, and thenthey can do the same thing over and over and over again... And in the end they will have sold more than they could ever wish for had they put out the product as permanent and given people time to think before they buy...

Well, I know what I’ll be maniacally googling over the next few days - it may not have launched in the States yet (no luck on Sephora, Nordstrom or US Dior site.) I love this line, though I absolutely agree the shade range is unconscionable, and have been leaning more toward skin tints and tinted moisturizers versus a full-on foundation. I wear mostly the same shades as you in foundation but a few I prefer the next darker shade so not sure which of these would suit me, may have to wait to get shade matched in store when everything opens back up. Having said that, I just got my No 7 foundation that I ordered from your link.... And OMG.... I love it! I do believe it is my new favorite. I had gone through several different foundations trying to find a replacement for the CYO. I tried high end and drugstore but nothing quite checked all my boxes until the No 7. Gemma - the Bondi Sands Fake Tan Remover is wonderful! Superdrug online perhaps? We find it at Walgreens here in the U.S., but I saw someone's vlog where they purchased the product in London at Super Drug. I certainly am not throwing any shade your way - just trying to be helpful. I've used it quite often and it's great. I used it just to remove old tan as it fades, as well as when things go wrong. As a fellow creator, I certainly know these things can happen. This "tint/foundation" looks lovely on you! Stay safe and well.
Gemma you crack me up 😂 back in the day, 100 yrs ago, I used fake tan and ended having to wear long sleeve blouses for a couple of weeks to hide the tan marks that adhered to elbows and hands (I also forgot to wash hands after application 🤦🏻♀️) and I scrubbed with everything I could lay my hands on to remove the staining..I won’t even mention knees ankles and toes, oh the shame!! 😩🤪😂 am loving the foundation 👍

Same here. Only place that I saw it available for online purchase is the Dior.com UK website. Selfridges might get it after a while and they ship to Scandinavian countries. Been waiting for this for two months already (popped up on Insta then).
You are always so cheery! The stuff looks great on you but it's not in my price range. As for your "tanned" hands, I usually end up the same way and I find a little exfoliation helps. It won't take it all away, but it speeds up the process.
This product looks so gorgeous on your skin. But unfortunately they do not have a shade for me as I am a woman of colour. I'm normally shade 5N in dior foundation. Hopefully, dior will be so kind and release more shade for us colour people 😊❤

I have it and I love it... I did get the Light 002 colour and it is definitely sun kissed! However it matches my other skin and I applied it with a damp sponge. I have older skin and I put a tiny bit of primer underneath after my serum and am very pleased. I think by looking at the advertising that the darkest colour would be aimed at those with darker skin. It is very fluid and translucent but still covers up defects in my opinion.
Lisa Austin I still don’t understand what you mean. I don’t think you’re getting the point... skin is skin. If someone wants a tint, they should be entitled to that. Just because they have a darker skin shade, doesn’t mean “they don’t require a tint”?...

Hi Gemma This is a bit off subject, but can you help me PLEASE. Now I have a lot more time in lockdown I want to spend a bit more time on my skin whilst getting a break from wearing make-up. The problem is I have a number of products in my skin care store which I've either forgotten, or confused, how and when, and what order to use them in. I am listing them below in the hope you can re-arrange them for me, telling what I can combine together, so I use them up in the correct order, rather than duplicating the same type of product, at the same time. My skin is generally quite dry, with broken capillaries and lots of blackheads (pores?) on my nose. Your help would be very much appreciated. Thanks Jemma for costing me £37 on lockdown here in the U.K. Just as the weather turns to crap again!! 😳😂😂. This arrived today and I’ve only used it once so far. Initially I thought it was going to be terrible for my 50 year old dry(ish) skin. But actually by the time I’d finished my makeup it had settled amazingly well! Love it so far. Just need the chance for a holiday to test it out!! Thank you for depleting my bank account. 🙄😱😂
What fake tan did you use on your face? ..i steer away from them as i find it clogs my pores & can look 'grubby' on my skin. Love the look of the skin tint, a bit pricey for what id ideally spend, but i prefer the lightweight look all the time so might be worth a try?? 🤔💖

linda o'regan I think tints are usually to even skin tone not darken it, at least that is why I use them. I’m just trying to tone down redness and make my skin more even.
Which shade did you end up wearing in the Dior backstage? I tried 1w and it was too dark 0w was way too light and I was afraid of 1n being too orange. I have yet to try 0n. Lol We wear similar foundation shades is why I ask. Now, I have to find this one. 🤪

It contains Isostearyl alcohol which is used to stop the emulsion from splitting and isn't harmful xxx

I have it and I love it... I did get the Light 002 colour and it is definitely sun kissed! However it matches my other skin and I applied it with a damp sponge. I have older skin and I put a tiny bit of primer underneath after my serum and am very pleased. I think by looking at the advertising that the darkest colour would be aimed at those with darker skin. It is very fluid and translucent but still covers up defects in my opinion.

Loved this so much on you I’ve gone and ordered myself one. Miss heard and thought you’d gone for the medium shade so I ordered that one and now I’m thinking it may be slightly dark for me. Hopefully not as I’m really looking forward to trying it.

This is a bit off subject, but can you help me PLEASE. Now I have a lot more time in lockdown I want to spend a bit more time on my skin whilst getting a break from wearing make-up.
The problem is I have a number of products in my skin care store which I've either forgotten, or confused, how and when, and what order to use them in.
I am listing them below in the hope you can re-arrange them for me, telling what I can combine together, so I use them up in the correct order, rather than duplicating the same type of product, at the same time. My skin is generally quite dry, with broken capillaries and lots of blackheads (pores?) on my nose. Your help would be very much appreciated. I luuuuuuuve your channel, I am the same age as your mum so love it when you try out things on her also as is very relatable.

Thanks Jemma for costing me £37 on lockdown here in the U.K. Just as the weather turns to crap again!! 😳😂😂. This arrived today and I’ve only used it once so far. Initially I thought it was going to be terrible for my 50 year old dry(ish) skin. But actually by the time I’d finished my makeup it had settled amazingly well! Love it so far. Just need the chance for a holiday to test it out!! Thank you for depleting my bank account. 🙄😱😂

What fake tan did you use on your face? ..i steer away from them as i find it clogs my pores & can look 'grubby' on my skin. Love the look of the skin tint, a bit pricey for what id ideally spend, but i prefer the lightweight look all the time so might be worth a try?? 🤔💖

This is a skin tint. Why would any one with a darker skin want to tint their skin darker. That is probably why it only comes in 5 pale shades. Xx
linda o'regan I think tints are usually to even skin tone not darken it, at least that is why I use them. I’m just trying to tone down redness and make my skin more even.
A skin tint isn't supposed to make your skin darker...it means it's a sheer coverage foundation xxx

Which shade did you end up wearing in the Dior backstage? I tried 1w and it was too dark 0w was way too light and I was afraid of 1n being too orange. I have yet to try 0n. Lol
