Jollof Box. They've just recently opened a store outside dalston shopping centre. Very good food as well. Shows that even though they didn't get the investment they believed in themselves and followed their dream. Smashed it
They have now moved to Barnet from Dalston. I visited the dalston branch once as the chicken was amazing, I wasnt too impressed with the meat however but good luck guys.

I would give you the money but for 50 per cent shareholding held by my daughter. Mum and son are very close...being from nigeria, I can see the love and respect from son to mum but mum you need to learn to let go. This respect for mum would create difficulties for the investor no matter how watertight the contract is. Also which other relatives would be involved! Wife? Girlfriend, other siblings??? I have bought the jelloff box in Brushfield Road market. Very good food. Like my mum's cooking.

Possibly the hardest pitch I've ever watched in the Den. The mother began to mess it up, and the son was too respectful (or had learnt it was useless from past experiences) to correct her. It fell apart in front of them, but good on Touka for mending the damage a little, and possibly saving their relationship. That said, the son had the correct plan - the only way this would be a good investment was if it was turned into a franchise with small kitchens that made healthy and fresh African food each day on site.

Especially when they are adults. It was hard to watch this woman getting a reality check right in front of cameras. But if she wants to grow her relationship with her son and other children she needs to learn how to step back and listen to them and trust they will do great as she has done a great job raising them. The obvious question on everyone's mind is...did Jenny say "I'm out!" when her son asked her for investment.

The Mum should has said little to nothing at all and smiled and let her son do the talking. I believe that there was a chance for a dragon to invest in their business. Anyways, best of luck to them.

They opened a restaurant in East London, Jollof box and I order from the often. They seem to be doing well without a Dragon.

Good to hear, the son was very articulate and persuasive, the mother whilst traditional is not suited for this market

I feel so bad for son because I have the same type of mother as he does too so I understand him completely and my dad past away when I was very small and my mother was the one that bought us up .. so no matter what my mum does we all love our mother a lot no matter how much she annoys us she still love her ... but sometimes it’s very hard when our mother is being like this too

Why does Peter always stare at the entrepreneurs like he did something wrong ... like he’s a criminal or something

This has nothing to do with the business or the pitch or anything, but the mom’s lipstick is a beautiful color that looks so wonderful on her!

This guy was so investable, his mum did what mums do and wanted to control everything 😂 I would’ve offered him the money and put a contingency that his mum only does the cooking and has no say in the business
