This is the MOST comprehensive video I’ve watched on this subject, and I’ve watched at least 5 other videos at this point. No one has held up individual items and talked about what stabilizer would be best in that situation. Thank you!

Oh My Goodness! I have to make a comment about the wooden handle bag!! Those were Super Popular when I was in High School (circa 75-81) 😂 And of course they were embroidered and we all had our initials on them! My Mom always says, "Everything Old Is New Again!" and "Give fashion enough time and it will come round again!" LOL!! She is absolutely right!! As a matter of fact, I still have my handle and bag somewhere in my house! I love that people are using them again. They are so cute!!

Currently watching video. Great information and nice to have as a refresher/reminder when you’ve been away from your embroidery and appliqué for a while.
I mainly do children’s clothing and I do like using Polymesh stabilizer however, I find it comes with its own set of quirks.
Question - what brand of Polymesh do you use? Do you find it shrinks, even a smidge? (Even a little bit of stabilizer shrinkage can cause puckering). Do you prep your Polymesh before application- run in through the rinse cycle & dryer before use or give it a burst of steam from your iron?
