- In todays video, I have assembled a kit giving us 50% Physical Damage Reduction on the Wizard class. Combining this with the bonk Wizard staff build, we are an absolute tank against other Melee classes, and still have our spells for ranged. Hope you guys enjoy this Dark and Darker build video, definitely going to upload more ideas I have!

I really want to see this build expanded upon with even better gear. With the auction house around, and how quick it is for good players to make BANK selling all the extra gear from players they kill, I am shocked we haven't seen more full good-Unique builds where you are just absolutely gear checking players. Imagine this PDR build but with the Knowledge, Movement Speed and Magical Damage of a real caster Wizard on top of it.
Honestly do videos that you like doing, to me you're a very entertaining person and also I can always learn a LOT from your videos. That being said, I would be looking forward to some more crazy build videos. Keep up the good work!!!

A couple of fun ones could be poisoned weapon rogue going all in on true magical damage, getting a few hits in, then running off
The king of goofy is probably crystal sword fighter with tons of magic power and/or true magic
They never expect the Bonk Wizard until they're in Melee range thinking that they won.

Love the build videos! Make a build with like a 130% casting speed and the perk which makes magic missiles get faster casting with each hit.
This is the build I've been running, except instead of 50% pdr I'm around 35, but my magic damage is 80%. I hit 140 per staff smack

You can layer a prot potion onto your shields; prot up, trade in melee, then activate shield some time after you take damage.

90% cast a spell and get rekt for the moven speed penalty when some melee class rush us.
Every single fight after the first kill I was like:"Here we go. This time we can see this build in action." Nope. Just 0 damage taken and kills in 1 or 2 hits

wizard was fine before the most recent buff. now we get nerfed cuz we got +1 damage...aaaand the spash dmg cant forget about that. maybe revert the splash damage from fireball

i loved the design of this game but the number theory the devs were using made no sense. 0.02% more move speed should not even be detectable. 50% PRDR reducing a 40 damage falchion swing to

To Be honest I’d probably do this build with Crystal ball and dagger instead of staff, replace staff mastery with melt or mana surge to get more damage or pen. Plus you can get more HP from having 2 weapons rather than one with staff.
I mostly agree, but rondel is much more expected to be melee than a staff. So less of a surprise factor
nah. he has 10 strength with this build, melt is pointless. staff mastery gives a ton of damage. mana surge is terrible too, 10% magic damage is way worse than staff mastery. also rondel and ball is slower and shorter range. one handed weapons can roll +3hp and two handers can roll +6, so no, can't really get much more HP from having 2 weapons either.

Why do you always keep trolls blood on you? Ive never seen somebody use it, but in all your videos ive watched you have it in your inventory.Seems kinda pointless.
Trolls blood is 1 health per second for 100 seconds. Very good in situations where you need to be on the run and constantly healing. On top of that it also stacks with health potions!

I love dumb builds like this. Maxing out a single stat that doesn't make logical sense for the class and messing with people.

High true magi damage build magic missile has the quickest TTK in the game aside from a max kit barbarian running reckless attack.
Wizard direct hit fireball certainly 2 taps every character aside from barbarian running magic reduction
Lightning strike on wizard does ridiculous damage.
All things wizard related have extreme DPS potential, both in single hit instance and over time. If anything, wizard benefits from the move speed meta the most. Kite +a few zaps can devastate any other class in a head on fight. I am not saying this to be hateful and I respect your opinion, but wizard is a very strong class for anyone with a baseline understanding of the mechanics of this game. Pair that with some mid tier move speed and damage boosting gear and you ultimately get a class that excels in all lobbies, and in all party sizes 😊 you don’t have to build PDR + Bonk to be viable

@@bwake_dnd I'll disagree there, over 800 hours as a Wizard main and trust me magic missile does shit. Maybe last resort in 1/10000000. Yet to see a fireball 2 tap anyone. maybe you're already low on health getting 1-2 tapped . I've unloaded and hit every spell the wizard has to offer and still getting the gap closed on and 1 tapped. Again I have to outplay every other class 2000% to win a fight. Reiterating that speed meta needs to go and Wizard's, where are they in lobby's still seeing the majority of other classes.
