    Just to clarify, the test target only comes with the hard fit guns, which are no longer offered. Neither of mine are hard fit but are still way more accurate than I’ll ever be.
    These are *not recommended* for everyone. If you don’t see the value in a $3000-5000 gun, they aren’t for you.
    For those of us who appreciate nice semi-custom (not true Custom) 1911s, you will be hard pressed to find a better 1911 for your money. ACW 1911s are downright gorgeous in hand and supremely reliable.

      @@lancedooley7558 ACW pistols are hand fit by a master gunsmith and have all tool steel parts. Tisas is one of the cheapest production 1911's you can buy. If you cant tell a difference you are not a true 1911 enthusiast. Many people prefer the old school look of the ACW.

      Sub 1k guns work great .. the difference like anything that’s lower in price vs higher in price is the quality of material and craftsmanship… an 800$ 1911 will not have a trigger as smooth as a 3k$ gun will not be fit and finished the same etc etc

    I bought my dad a Metro Arms 3011 (not a typo) .45acp double stack all stainless steel frame, bull barrel, red fiber optic and has placement for red dot but not for me, and it's in satin when the sun reflects off of it there's nothing like it!!!

  • @samueltucker8473
    @samueltucker8473 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

    That front sight doesn't rust and stays shiny. And not so much that it would make it too front heavy. Double stacks are easier to control when fully loaded. After about a dozen shots the follow up shots become more difficult to put in the center mass. . . So it is the lighter on ammo the more difficult any large caliber is to control. . .

    Great video and nice shooting Eric. I wish that people and businesses in the ‘firearms’ industry would refrain from giving the left ammo to use against us by referring to firearms as weapons. A firearm is a firearm until such time as it is used as a weapon. Just as a hammer is a hammer until such time as it is used as a weapon. It comes down to usage. Obviously firearms ‘used’ by military, law enforcement and criminals, are weapons, as that is their usage. Your average person however owns a firearm until such time as they have to use it as a weapon. Just a thought, and I’m sure I’ll cop plenty of flack.

    185 grains at 750 fps??? Do they test with this ammo because the millionare soft handed sissies who are their primary demographic can shoot these things without hurting their frail hands??? Joking aside, I find it odd they are using such a low powered loading, compared to the usual plain jane 230 gr FMJ at 850 fps or so.... Of course, the pistol brace ban couldn't have happened at a worse time. Now, with the brace ban, the cartridge is facing claims of it's true potential.... Surprisingly the brace ban is happening at a horrible time......
