    We use ve-6 racks as well as the cb-70 racks. Great rack. Excellent review. Better than the one we did. Cheers

    if i buy 2 of the ve-6e economy racks
    are they stackable? also will i be anle to install the work table for the ve-6 racks?

      Yes the ve 6e racks are stackable. Reptile basics states the table will not work with the ve 6e racks. I have not tried but was thinking of getting one just to see. The table will work with the ve 6 racks.

    Do you put any kind of ventilation holes along the bin sides? And you’re using cypress mulch right? Sorry if you covered it in the video already.

      Yes I did have to put some vent holes. Some in the front and on the sides In the front i put two rows of about 18 to 20 holes. That doesn't let to much humidity out. Yep cypress mulch.

      I also put some in the back just 4 for some air flow

      @@largecaliberconstrictors6397 Do you think if I put down paper or aspen instead I could get away without the vent holes?

    • @largecaliberconstrictors6397
      @largecaliberconstrictors6397  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Possibly. I know the cypress mulch hold humidity almost to well. I keep my room right around 45 to 50 percent humidity. I thi k pry paper would keep you from having to put holes in your tubs

      @@largecaliberconstrictors6397 That's my current situation in a nutshell. I ordered a CB70 and a VE-6 rack along with the freedom breeder tubs for the CB70, and the VE brand for the VE-6 rack. Just kind of figuring out how I want to approach it. I always had animal plastics cages before with heat panels.
      Now I bought a radiant oil heat where I'm heating the room to about 75 figuring that will take care of the ambient tempts for the rack.

    Are these style 11 qt tubs bigger in floor space than the shoebox style 12 qt?

    • @largecaliberconstrictors6397
      @largecaliberconstrictors6397  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I apologize for taking so long to respond. I think they floor space is close to the same. The 12 gt may be a bit larger. They floor space is just distributed differently for the shape of the tubs.

    Just bought the rack with the 23 qt tubs but I can’t seem to find the 11 qt tubs anywhere

      Yeah they are out right now. They usually dont take very long to come back in stock though. Usually if reptile basics is out then everywhere is out.
