All Bodymovin Settings Explained

- There can be a lot of settings for Bodymovin, some more obvious than others in what they do.
Bodymovin allows you to export animations from After Effects to a .json file, otherwise known as a Lottie animation.

dear friend, I'm having a problem rendering a file I made for boddy movin, I created a simple animation, with masks, but the masks I created I used the trim paths options, to make the mask start and end at a certain moment, just When I send it to render inside boddymovin it doesn't render, can you tell me which option I need to activate inside boodymovin?
I tried banner for it gives me a blank canvas?? Any idea what needs to be fix.

hey i got a problem, ive kept exporting my project into json files with bodymoving when i see the preview its not animating, even tho i tried it in lotte website its not moving or animating. its just static man.. help me out
Hi! Im trying to export my animation with some masks and effects and they dont work properly in the json file. Any idea? :(

Hey there! Is there a way to render multiple animations with different png sequence file names? I'm finding that my renderings create an image folder with the same file names, causing the json file to not be readable

does having an adjustment layer affect the export to json file?
my json file doesnt seem to be working, is it because i have an adjustment layer?
Hi Ginan, hard to say without looking at the project but yes I think theres a good chance that thats causing the problem.

@@dinamohy1724 I don't think its possible to export to svga with bodymovin. Perhaps another extension? I dont know anything about this format
@@SVGenius my version of bodymovin that can export audio and video files failed to export sound is there a problem with the aftereffects version also can i convert jason to svga

Some effects aren't supported within Lottie, you can find them here:

Yes there is an 'import lottie' button on bodymovin to do just this!

I'm trying to add effects from 'effects & presets' in my shape from vector layer (AI), and when I try to export with turbulent displace or even wiggle paths, it simply don't work, do you know why?
These effects aren't supported, most of the effects on After effects aren't!
@@SVGenius so whats the solution for it ? am using some color correction effects and block load , the effects dont show upon the svg though
@@manvsmaschine4317 the solution is to use no-plugin workarounds
@@SVGenius okay thanks i got a workaround, exported to a jpeg seq and then rendered from bodymovin

Did your 3D layers come from blender or After Effects? I've honestly never used 3D layers but know a resource showing how to make Lotties from blender :
