This generation is lucky to have such a pleasant, informative(step-by-step approach) person...in my day, the Shop Teachers were bitter, arrogant & lazy (they were old guys & already had their pensions waiting!)..they didn't care if they were understood or not, but not Mr. Tiberi..you can see that he cares~!
should do a load test to remove top voltage... wait five min and do another full load test like 10 sec at least 10 sec... just say`n ... i own a vat-40. i was told before hooking up VAT-40 turn the LOAD OFF POS SO IT WILL NOT SPARK... WHEN CLAMPING IT ON BATTERY...
You would test the battery (in this case) for only half the time because they want to conserve the battery life for as long as possible (school purposes). Normally you would do 15 seconds

To all: This is a great video and I will highly recommend to always wear a Face Shield (PPE) when load testing a battery.

Why load test for only 7 seconds instead of the full 15 seconds??
