- Today we are looking at how much the Territory coins, that you might find in your change, are really worth?
Though the Grosnez Castle 50p from Jersey and the Freesia Flowers 50p from Guernsey aren't rare to find in certain dates. There are some dates of these coins that sell for a lot more! We also have a look at some coins from the Isle of Man, including the TT Racing bike coins, again, while the 1997 TT 50p is fairly common, any other date, or the old larger size are incredibly scarce and worth a lot of money!
We also have some coins from the Falkland Islands and Gibraltar to have a look at and talk about their values. Penguins, Wolves, Barbary Apes and much more!
These are all coins I have found while doing coin hunts on the channel.
If your coin isn't in the video, but is from a territory then feel free to ask about it in the comment section, it may well be the rarest coin out there!

I don’t have that many! That’s the problem. Maybe I can do a video using some images rather than the coins themselves! A great way to value any coin is to look on eBay and use the filter to filter for only ‘sold’ listings. I know the 97 is pretty scarce though! Thanks pap!
I live on Jersey, most years are very easy to find. I go up to the bank at least once a week and still yet to find the 2003 Jersey. Guernsey coins we come across very often aswell. Have a few 2016s, can send you one
Just goes to show you doesn’t it! Even someone on the island can’t find one! Very kind offer on the 2016, I’m sure I will find one in time! Though a PO Box may be something coming up in the future 😎
Nice. Ive come across a few Territories coins in circulation in my time, including a 2011 IOM xmas 50p, all of which I've sold. Never really been into them.
Isn't it funny. A 10k minted coin should be fetching hundreds of £'s.....there's just not that desirability. Crazy.

I've had a 2019 peter pan coin and £2 Baliwick of Jersey 2006 coin with 15k mintage from people before. I keep them but yeah you won't get kew gardens money for any of them.

Peter Pan find is crazy, great stuff. So tough to find any territory £2 coins these days as well, let alone a 2006 Jersey 👌 👌 👌

I recently bought the 50p sapphire set (5 coins) on ebay for £20 incl postage if that helps.
Great video LAFTA 😊. I have found quite a few of the more common designs of Territories from £50 hunts ,my more recent being a Milners Tower .

You might be right, but 172 is quite a lot of hunts! A lot of those were a few years ago as well, so you’re probably right, not so many territories around these days! (Said like a proper old man 😂)

@@LAFTA I went to 1 more after we met but there was to much Gold and higher end coins so I buy my Territory's from ebay. I used Pobjoy but they stopped trading this month. I also use Westminster for UK coins 👍
