Great explanation. However, the bigger concern for new traders which no one ever seems to address is the edge-of-your-seat moment-by-moment urge to pull the trigger. They need the “how” part of how to wait for a setup. In your first example, a new student would have to sit for 90 minutes straight while watching price run away and the reverse and ONLY THEN be willing to step in front of what appears to be the market turning bearish. No one truly addresses this in a helpful way other than re-presenting the 2022 model and saying “just wait for your setup.” If you really want your channel to blow up, do something very different than every other ICT guru and give new traders the step by step skills of waiting, patience, faith that a trade will materialize. They need actual techniques not just vague tropes like “just wait for your setup.” Add something new and truly unique to the conversation instead of regurgitating the same old stories.
I agree but I think that comes with experience from charts, he can’t just hand it over to you if you don’t want to get an experience in the chart
@dlombard Totally agree. Much like many university courses nowadays: lots of concepts and hypothetical scenarious of no real use in reality, day to day situations. But since you have exerted so much effort to learn all the conceptual paraphernalia, you don't admit soon enough their insufficiency in relation to the demands of a trading career day by day, and then you begin to look for and rely on similarities between the hypothetical examples and real market situations, and the losses ramp up like mad. You get deeply frustrated, and give up.

The solution to what you seek is backtesting what Dan thought, he can not instill faith for anyone, faith in a belief comes from your own conviction about the reality of something occurring. The only way for that to happen is doing it yourself, Dan is giving a blueprint, the conviction and patience CAN NOT be thought, the individual himself need to teach himself patience, faith and conviction about his own beliefs. And the "vague tropes" is just what it is, If right now you told me to meet you in times square and just said wait for me I wouldnt't find you because I don't know what you look like nor do you, we would never find each other, only by seeing and recognizing that @dlombard looks like this would I be able to "wait for you." The setups in trading are the same thing only by repeatedly seeing a setup and backtesting it can you “just wait for your setup” and know when to properly execute on it

Hello, I have some questions on ICT 2022 MODEL, What time do I look for liquidity sweew and on what timeframe I look for liquidity sweep, because I watched the 2022 mentorship and he said that we hunt for the setup from 8:30 NY TIME on index, but when I backtested it in like 80% trades the liquidity sweep happen before 8:30 and I didnt catch the moove.

Is this 2022 Model for sure profitabel? I don't get good results in backtests?
I find it to be very effective during London and NY sessions, but only having a HTF narrative is what makes it more effective.
