- 17 mm open end wrench ratchet
12 mms socket
12 inch or 18 inch 3/8 extension
3/8 ratchet
Oem Toyota fuel filter part# 23300-75031 or
Denso part number 186100-3700
And most important at least 2 cold beers lol
As a heads-up, I found it easier to remove the lower filter mounting bolt from the front of the truck. I found it easier to install the filter mounting bolts and the rear fuel line from the front of the truck too
@2:40 "and of course, a could beers" hahaha great vid
The beers sold me on this project I have a 96 Tacoma never changed the filter 350,000 miles its time for a change.
It is definitely a must for the job👌 🤣

Finally found a video that will help me!! Thank you. I know this is 2 years old but maybe you can still answer? My question is will there be a lot of gas leak?
No not really very minor. Yes I saw some many dumbass videos on this. It's so easy to do
Do you have any more videos with your t100? I'm really just seeing all your Ford stuff on your channel.
No I never really recorded on my t100 I should have my t100 is at the shop bad computer waiting on the new one
i seen people put these on wrong . an it will burn up your pump an cause your truck to spit an spudder badly
What do you mean? Are you saying people install the filter backwards?
We wanna see that Harley Davidson 6 Liter
Lol she is still there I got to take care of my work truck too it keeps the miles and all the plant shit off my Harley Davidson lol
I've seen videos where people take the left front tire off, jack the truck up to take off and install the fuel filter. I always thought that it was over kill.
It's not needed at all it takes a out 20 mins it's not hard
maybe on Tacoma?
Where did U get the brush guard? Have u ever changed the fuel Pump?
It came with the truck when I bought it and yes I have changed the fuel pump
@@FORD4LIFE73 What were your symptoms for a fuel pump?
@@jonhvac I had water in my gas so when I dropped the tank I changed the fuel pump because the truck is old and the previous owner never changed it. I did as preventive maintenance while I had the tank dropped.
@@FORD4LIFE73 ok thanks for your reply. I have the 96 T100 2.7 and trying to figure out hard starting, mostly in warm weather. But, now it's starting to do it in the cooler weather.
@@FORD4LIFE73 do you have a video on you changing the fuel pump on the t100?? I have one and it will not turn over. I’m thinking it’s the fuel pump. I don’t hear it engage upon startin up. Honestly not sure if I would regardless. But it def sounds like at choking for gas
Yea, where is the blue oval?
Right next to my yota I have 2 a f150 and of course my Harley Davidson
