I heard ktuner is great for manual standard transmissions and I can’t wait to do that. Also, props for being careful and cautious. Doing pulls on the highway instead of streets, and I saw you peeking to your blind spots before you switched lanes. Awesome and safe broski.
Just remember to install OEM air filter because k-tuner was tune with stock air filter. If you have the cold air intake it's throwing off fuel ratio and you will lose power and soooooo much gas. Great video keep up the good work.
@@ochoasgarage yes it does work with cold air intake, but it has to be the same diameter tubing for the MAF sensor as the stock, and the AEM intake it's not, it's bigger so it throws of the fuel ratio ( reading more air = more gas) yes more gas means more power but not in this case because you don't have the right tune for that intake so you are wasting so much gas and none to little gains in power and wasting gas. Plus with the stock intake you will feel much more torque since it's reading correctly. I am going to get my car tune again but with the cold air intake install but that's another $300 for another custom tune,so for now I am ok without the cold air intake. Test it your self see the results in the data log in ktuner with stock intake and cold air intake, the readings will be much better with the stock intake. Short-term fuel trim values should generally be between positive 10%, and negative 10% when the engine is running at a steady speed. And with the cold air intake I was hitting almost 20% positive!! That's too much that's really bad. So to bring it down you need a custom tune with the cold air intake. I am trying to help out so you can have the car running good, but hey it's all up to you. 👍 Hope that helps.

Also it runs WAY better with the OEM intake because KTuner used the stock air filter to make the tune for this vehicle. If you use KTuner and install n after market CAI it will throw off your STFT and LTFT fuel trim. All you will do is waste more gas and lose power. Now if you want the AEM CAI to work properly you will need to get you car tuned again with the CAI and they will make the right correction on the tune to get the most HP out of that CAI. If you don't care about gas and lost of power and just want to cool noise for the CAI then install it. I hope this helps.
hi sir in "two step performance" store theres a three option you need to answer 1.vehicle year 2.vehicle model and 3.tune. so my car is 2.0L cvt. on number 2 question i will choose "civic non-si 1.5T"?and on number 3 question i will choose "stage 1 non-si 1.5T"?
Finally i tuned my car using ktuner 1.2 for me its worth it driving on city or freeway at least you unleashed the extra potential of k20c2 specially the vtec at 5300rpm it goes brrrrrrrrr :) and i have no engine light or warning light. The throttle response II are worth it too make sure you change that too. I drove it on a straight(no traffic) i reached 95mph with no sweat. Car can still do 100 plus mph but on 90 to 95mph the car feels like sensitive i mean i dont want to slip. I dont care 0 to 60 from stop i normally drive to 50mph then i floor it smoothly to reach the 5300rpm to test the vtec. Thanks i watched this video as my guide.

But I got a question because I’m a little confused, I have a 2017 Civic EX cvt, and I was planning to buy the ktuner but I found some videos on TH-cam that sometimes the tune requires +91 octane or something like that, but those cars were Si, not EX. So do you think that the EX will have the same settings or Tune (Tune 1) as yours? I will be grateful for anyone who answers my question.

I believe with the Honda hack you can get an app to run the gauges so it can show on your display. But such a difference w the Ktuner
TunerView, I got it but mine is super glitchy! and totally, Vtec power!

Depends what you are looking for, Ktuner doesnt matter you have to lock it your ECU for parts i would strictly go w the 2.0 parts
Theres only 1 tune available for my car. It's meant for exhaust mods. I dont have any mods atm, can i still flash this tune?

Ktuner works with pc or laptop! As long as the tune was uploaded/flashed to the ktuner unit plugged into the car!

Yes, when checking for tunes for our cars Ktuner says it runs better on 91+ octane but you may run regular. I use 93
