This video popped up yesterday just as we were leaving General RV in Wixom with our new 5th wheel. Perfect timing! We had just declined the extended warranty (nearly $7k) as well as the special coating (another 2k). Insane!
I purchased a warranty thru my dealer.. 5yrs or 50,000 miles and it has worked great. Able to combine repairs on a claim....it clearly itemized what is paid for ion thr Ford and rv itself. Purchased used rv so aftermarket warranty. Gonna miss the insurance when it expires. Have not looked at replacing it yet.
Two years ago we drove our 45' motorhome and tow vehicle (five axles) over the Mario Cuomo Bridge. A few days later I checked my EZ-Pass account and saw we were charged $49.34 for the privilege of crossing the bridge! Without EZ-Pass it would have been $55.87! For reference, the toll for cars is only $5.75. My only hope is that they spread the wealth and fill the many potholes we encountered on I-287!
Extended warranties on most consumer goods are a total rip off. Now more than ever due to cost and limited coverage. Their an absolute joke in the rv industry in my opinion.
The gentleman talking about warranty desperately needs a new mic. I want to listen but it sounds like he’s talking in a tunnel made of coffee cans with a sweatshirt in between 😢

Same here, VERY interested in what he had to say, but could not understand him.
Yes, we tell our guests to have a good microphone but every now and then, they think the computer mic will sound okay. It seldom does.
