So in my case that I have a Designer Topaz 30, I can only send the design from mySewNet to my computer, and then save it to a USB drive, and then take my USB drive to the USB connector of my topaz, and open it. That looks straightforward!!! And it appears to work also for my Bernina B830 that uses EXP format, and my BAI that uses DST format. Which is the name of the app that can be used in my Android cell phone? Is it available on the Google Store? Thanks for your Super Excellent Video!!!! Jorge
I don't have a machine with wifi. Can I still use mySewnet, download files from the library by sending to my laptop and using my USB to send to my machine?
I have a Topaz 50 - so I understand I can't send it directly, but can I do the same editing, etc, and then send it to a thumb drive to take to my machine?
Yes it needs to be on to transfer directly to the machine. You could send it to your cloud anytime though & you can access your cloud when you turn on the machine.
You can do it in your design software. When you are working on a design if you click on the thread color bar to the right of your screen. I’m not sure if you can change it on the front of the machine. I will have to look into that.
Great information.I have bought an epic2 but am having problem downloading other designs I have bought onto mysewnet.I would be very grateful if you can help me with this.
Do you have everything signed in & connected to the WiFi? You would have to be more specific in why it’s not working for me to help. You should be able to hit the send button & it will go to your sewing machine.
@@SewAnastasia thankyou for the quick reply.the problem we are having is from designs we have bought from other sites how do we get them onto mysewnet . It feels like we are missing a step some where if you could walk me through it step by step that would be great
@@SewAnastasia I had created a design in MySewnet with flowers and a name. I hoped that using the USB I could upload. Guess I need to consider accessing an Epic to do that bit. 🤔
You have an epic 2 and 980q? May you do a comparison video. I’ve been wanting the epic but the 980 looks nice too but I definitely need to be able to add my brand name onto each project
You transfer them like normal but the jade I do not think supports the file format from my Sewnet. I can double check when I get into the studio though! Happy sewing! It will support everything from premier plus 2 design software though!
Esperanza, contact your Husqvarna Viking dealer with any questions. Your program is defaulted to save your files as .vp4. The Jade 35 only reads .vp3. When you "Export" your design to your flash drive, use the drop menu (In this window) to chose .vp3. Your Jade 35 will be able to read this file.
@@SewAnastasia it’s limited but I use the Epic. I usually add lettering or duplicate or mirror etc. I’m not sure but do u think they added some capability when they created that Silver level ?
@@loiscasey1338 the silver level will give u software to download on your computer for editing. It’s basically premier plus 2 but you pay monthly for it & not all up front.
Excuse me but I was wondering if the Viking designer epic machines are low shank? Because I have a brother right now but I want to invest in a designer epic 2 since it's similar to the creative Icon from PFAFF but I don't want to buy new feet.
Yes they are low shank and much easier to use. You would also need all new bobbins, the bobbins used on the epic are larger than what other machines use.
I'm going to go ahead and ask why you say going to go ahead so much? What are you going ahead of? I never understand this phrase. I'm going to go ahead and sew this... I'm going to sew this...

Yes!
Why can’t I find any information on using the Sewnet monogram wizard?
Hummm I am not sure. I can add it to my list of videos to create though!
Do you have to have to have your sewing machine on to transfer project from lab top to Epic one
Yes it needs to be on to transfer directly to the machine. You could send it to your cloud anytime though & you can access your cloud when you turn on the machine.
What is the name of the App that you are using with your MySewNet??
I would like to take some classes from you to learn how to use MySewNet. How do I reach and pay you?
Hi, You can sign up for classes at sewanastasia.com
I just purchased an Epic 2. I have a silver subscription to My Sewnet. I also have Premier 2 plus software. Now do I need to buy new software?
No you do not. You can download the app versions for your computer or keep using premier plus 2. You can send your designs to your computer with both.
How can I change my thread type from Robison Anton to Sulky on my Designer Epic?
You can do it in your design software. When you are working on a design if you click on the thread color bar to the right of your screen. I’m not sure if you can change it on the front of the machine. I will have to look into that.

Great Video, I have the 980Q can i do the same on it? I cannot locate the answer anywhere so hoping you can help.
Well the 980q doesn’t do embroidery….. what would you like to transfer to it?
@@SewAnastasia I had created a design in MySewnet with flowers and a name. I hoped that using the USB I could upload. Guess I need to consider accessing an Epic to do that bit. 🤔
What foot is being used on that Epic 2? Doesn’t look like the foot used for embroidery on the Epic 1.
It’s the R foot.
@@SewAnastasia Interesting. Because sometimes my biggest embroidery machine frustration is getting the other foot on!!

I think you are asking about premier plus 2? Thank you for watching Sew Anastasia and happy sewing.

What’s the app called? Quick design?
was this done on the free software or ???
No this software is not free. You can sign up for monthly subscriptions!
Can a picture be use from the internet?
Yeah totally!!! You can take any image!!!!
I just use my epic to access the embroidery library for getting designs. My old computer died and I only have my iPad and iPhone now.

My 2 cents. You will have to get new feet for some cause of the IDF capability and the 8 mm size Stiches. Actually quite a lot of new feet.
