It was a bit all over the place, but I wanted to cram as many ideas as possible in there 😀
Schedule 80 PVC should give 3/4 ID or just under. Schedule 40 is thinner walled with the same OD as Schedule 80.
Good to know! I'll pick some Sch 80 up and try that out. I just found out that you can actually get a 13/16 collet for the ER32 chuck though, so I'm not sure if it's as big a deal as I thought. Got bad info from somewhere that ER32 chucks only go up to 3/4"

Floral wire would be perfect for the small wire. Very cheap at Hobby Lobby
Nice review of pouring round blanks. Lots of pluses and minuses compared to squared blanks!!
Hopefully we will get some good info from the results to compare the different methods I used. So many ways to do it, and each can slightly change the outcome
Where did you purchase the clear tubes & plugs at
The tubes are just schedule 40 PVC pipe. The plugs I get from Turners Warehouse: www.turnerswarehouse.com/products/makers-select-hdpe-found-pen-blank-molds?ref=nvww
