Thank you for the comment, Dana!
I’m heading to pool 6 in a couple weeks. Looking forward to fishing wing dams
Should be good timing for wingdam fishing.
Great fish! Looking forward to it!
Fishing has been great!
lol I met you out on the river last week! I figured this video would be coming out. Glad I said hey!
Thanks for saying hi! I hope you found a few fish as well!
Another Great video. Thank you for the tips and techniques.
John
Thank you John!
Wow, it amazes me how the river doesn't look near as brown as it does down by me north of Dubuque. Thanks for the video.
It's flowing nice an clean right now. We have not had much rain recently to dirty things up.
Great video Lance. Can’t wait to get up there. Unreal
October will be good fishing!
Awesome video! Thanks
Thank you Capt. Greg!
Enjoyed the video!
Thank you Greg!
As always Great info !
Thank you!
Love the videos!
Thank you Matt!
Apparently I need to stock up on some cranks and head your way sooner than later!
The bite will be good for the next couple months
@@AnglerX Every Fall! I was just playing with Pike today and am looking forward to finding some tanks out by you this Fall!
What water temps will you stop using cranks and go to jigs kn the wingdams? Will the walleye use the wingdams all winter?
I’ll throw jigs more when the temps are 50s and below. I would think that there are some walleyes using wingdams all winter. They are hard to access once the river freezes over.
Im fishing by dam 15 in davenport iowa. Its been slow here. Are you up by guttenburg or lacrosse?
La Crosse area
Another great video! Well done! Did you use a flouro leader? Or tie directly to the suffix 832?
I always tie braid directly to the lure on the Mississippi river. The fish don't seem to mind in my experience.
Do you have a fluorocarbon leader? How do you prevent pike cutting your line? Nice video
I don't use fluorocarbon leaders on the Mississippi River. I do lose the occasional bait to pike. the only way to avoid that is with a steel leader.
Do you tie your crank baits directly to your crank bait? Or do you use a fluorocarbon leader?
I always tie my braid directly to the bait.
Water is looking clear, think there's is a night bite?
I think the night bite could be good if your willing.
Another information packed nugget! How bad were the weeds? Been holding off on the trip until the weeds subside, 😆
Thank you! The weeds weren't bad where I was fishing but certain areas tend to be worse than others. I think you can find clear areas if you keep moving around.
