Didn't catch the live stream, but watched it till the end. Great Video! I really like the way you go into detail and describe your process. Keep it up!
Hi there! Great job on NAND upgrade, very detailed. Just recently found your channel on Louis Rossmann on one of his board repair videos. And yeah, STS Telecom also is very entertaining to watch. Kudos to all of you!
Nice one buddy! I love doing board repair. Just recently found your channel and you're doing a great frikkin' job! Plus its always nice to see a fellow bean doing board repair.
Thank you for your good work sir. all the way from Kenya and I've done a successful upgrade from your video. 10/10 much appreciation for the pep talk too
Can you use the irepair P10 to do this instead of the JC tools? Copy syscfg from old nand, remove and replace with new nand and then write the syscfg to the new nand then restore?
Brilliant video! Most of the videos Ive seen on nand upgrades gloss over the finer details but you've gone through every single step with clarity. Thanks. Just wondering if you've managed to do an upgrade on an iphone 11 / 11 pro / 11 promax? Im assuming these would need a different JC programmer?
@@VCCBoardRepairs Great thanks! Also just another question if you'd mind. Would it be possible to use Lead Free Solder for the chip reballing? Or is Lead Free solder less structurally sound and less conductive? Thanks again!
iPhone 8 Qualcomm : No imei @ *#06# and in settings also. Baseband reballed Bbpmu replaced Wtr replaced. For each replacement،set work for 1 week and return back. What should I need to check next.
Hi, is it possible to upgrade NAND on iPod touch 5th? Does that programmer support it or would you recommend different programmers to work with iPod touch 5th nand?
Hi a repair guy completely botched my iphone 7. The phone wasn't charging before, the guy opened my phone and soldered something, when he plugged it back it I saw flames blazing. He putted my phone back in and returned it and the asshole just said that my phone can't be fixed and thats it. I'm wondering if I can swap my phones nand to a new motherboard?

Hi can't find the website for nanda thanks
I don't understand. What website?
are those your customers phones your fixing Jesse?
Majority of the phones I repair on the channel are devices I get mailed in for repair. For this specific video, it was my own iPhone 7 I had for sale

Yes but it requires 2 restores

Thank you! It's virtually the same process. Just needs a different programmer, JC P13.

why are you using the wrong tool to scrape the residue? you are not suppose to use a tweezer!
Well I did use them and no problem 🙂
Nice work Jesse 👍🏼
Just a quick question, why didn’t you write all the data from the old NAND?
Normally I do, but I was also explaining how to do it in a case where you lose the original NAND.
At the end, it doesn't really matter
Have you done a quest 2?
What's that?
@@VCCBoardRepairs Should also had said. Awesome video. Such great detail.

Could this be done for a iphone 13 pro max? Which programmer would I need? Would JC P13 do the trick or do I need a newer version?
Yes, you need a NAND from another 13PM. Watch my 14PM NAND upgrade video for the process. It's the same steps.
@@VCCBoardRepairs Would changing the NAND remove the iCloud lock?
No
@@VCCBoardRepairs Is there any hardware that you can switch in order to remove the iCloud lock?
