Verse 19 also!❤😊❤19 And thus we see that, when these Lamanites were brought to believe and to know the truth, they were firm, and would suffer even unto death rather than commit sin; and thus we see that they buried their weapons of peace, or they buried the weapons of war, for peace. We need to look inside and look at what kinds of weapons of war we use! Judging, anger, hatred, fear. We need to bury those weapons and use weapons of peace!! Love, service, empathy and compassion! ❤😊❤
They would rather die than commit sin. Do I have this desire, although sin is sometimes so appealing? When I reviewed verse 19 I had to ask myself, how firm am I in the gospel? What behaviors do I need to bury?

@@naomilewis3308 that verse is very scary when we apply it to ourselves. Self-evaluation is never easy.
@@ldsgirldoes3966 so true and I need to be careful not to allow constructive self evaluation turn to negative self criticism.
@@naomilewis3308 agreed 👍
