Thank goodness I don't live close to the BBCE. All of my pension would be spent on cards. Such a great store concept. It really fits a niche in a hobby that counts on trust, honesty. Concepts that the BBCE bases their business on. What a great much needed store for all sports card collectors.
Just a few miles north of here on Indianapolis are Miner-Dunn and Blue Top Drive-in. Miner-Dunn has great burgers and Blue Top has awesome shakes and a bent towards drive-in nostalgia goodness. I lived a couple of blocks behind M-D. I miss the area some times, but definitely don’t miss the winters.
Thank you Erik for shooting video inside this card mecca known as the BBCE. I still need to check out this place. I moved to Fort Wayne,IN in 2004. I'd have to budget myself as I'd be in baseball card paradise.
Hey Eric. My son, wife and I ran into you and your brother right before you did the break at the Ebay booth at the National. We are lucky enough to live about 20-25 minutes away from BBCE. We were just there this past Saturday for National Baseball Card Day. The guy working while you were there is Joe, he's a great guy. It was nice meeting you.
You know until I started watching these videos I had no clue what was in that building. Then I see Jabs ripping boxes all the time from them. Place is literally a mile from my house. Used to be an old corvette dealership. I haven't gone in yet but sooo cool to see a place you pass every day on a video
Like their web-site. I have ordered a 1981&82 Donruss going to break them open at a future date to be determined. I got those before I spent my budget that I decided on before that ran out. Now it's slim pickings for what I have on hand and what I get from the few patreon pages i support.
Would love to check out their shop sometime. I'm sure it's a pretty impressive sight when their inventory is fully on display and in store. Good vid as always.
I'm not a huge sports card collector but I've been to BBCE a few times. It's a nice shop and the people that work there are cool. If for some reason you ever find yourself in Northwest Indiana or the Chicago area again I'd recommend you also check out More Fun Sports Cards in Dyer. It's another nice little card shop that's only about a 10 minute drive from BBCE.
Definitely a nice store. That 89 fleer set is a steal. Binder alone is 6. I saw an 89 upper deck box I would’ve liked but they don’t have another website anymore
Great pickup on that 89 fleer binder Erik. Don't know why but l like the cards of 89. Can't wait for your throw back Thursday. Bought the complete set back in 1984 for $50.00
Hello. New subscriber. Just stumbled across your channel. You have me interested in taking up the hobby again. I haven't collected since the 90's. Any advice on where to start?
I bought from them once. I was charged more for shipping than the listed price. When I emailed them I never got a response. Oh well. The Facebook page has been entertaining.

Born and raised in Indiana and have never been to their brick and mortar store! Great vid Erik!
Such a cool store. I honestly never checked their website after all these videos you've posted. Their prices seem really reasonable
Great video, love the 1989 Fleer pickup. The binder and sheets were probably worth more than $6 to begin with.

Great video Erik. It's nice to see what their store front looks like. Unfortunately, I would go broke in there quickly!!

Thanks for getting us a look at the inside of BBCE!

Lot of nostalgia in there. Looks like card shops used to look like when we were kids
Definitely a nice store. That 89 fleer set is a steal. Binder alone is 6. I saw an 89 upper deck box I would’ve liked but they don’t have another website anymore
Was the jeff treadway 89 fleet correct? It has the target mark above his head. It's rare but I heard they come out of factory sets
Hey Jabs Family. Some nice stuff. I have all my childhood PC in 3 binders similar that one. I kept them all just how I left them in 92.
Great video Erik. Also nice pickup with Fleer set. Thanks for sharing.
Have you done 1990 Leaf for Throwback yet? That would be cool.
Great video!! Love baseball card shops!! Great haul!
Thanks for sharing!! God Bless!!
Have You ever been to More Fun Sports Cards in Dyer, IN.?
Was just shopping their site today! Wanted some 85 for a break...

SatInThePark541 you bought a 1989 fleer set in 1984? lmao..you make no sense
@@whitebathroomguy Time travel.
The set was only 10 bux the time travel was 30
The first page of the binder bottom rung was not attached gives me anxiety
Great video! Kind of surprised there in-store prices is the exact same as online. I would go broke in this store!
I was wondering the same thing about Billy Ripken?
which billy ripken?
Awasome to see the shop,I do box breaks with them online, there set up is pretty cool
No Dadecounty Dale, l bought the 79 topps set in 84. Erick is doing the 79 box for throw back Thursday. Sorry for the misunderstanding
2012 Topps (series 2 as well as Update) have Bryce Harper RCs and aren't ridiculously expensive....Another idea for throwback Thursday.
If I remember correctly, this building used to be a used Corvette dealership.
their Nationals store looks more entertaining than the brick n mortar store..lol
Nice video. I like the 1989 Fleer set. I know there not worth much but like it. I have 3 sets myself.
Very cool...they looked empty, everything good was at the national...lots of key cards in the cases though
Awesome video, never bought from there but may in the future
Hello. New subscriber. Just stumbled across your channel. You have me interested in taking up the hobby again. I haven't collected since the 90's. Any advice on where to start?
These guys are only two hours from my house.... I my have to move into a box of Topps!!🤣
Dude u go so many cool places!
I love shopping at BBCE. I shop there pretty regularly.
2011 topps blaster was 90 bucks?
Joseph Hughes that’s a good deal
I bought from them once. I was charged more for shipping than the listed price. When I emailed them I never got a response. Oh well. The Facebook page has been entertaining.
Your accent went from your western PA to a Philly accent when you were speaking about your chrome cases.
Nice video; awesome looking store
I was just there yesterday great place btw
These guys should be shipping you FREE boxes for as much publicity as they get through this channel! :-)
Nice place! But if you ever get the chance, my all time fav....Burbank SportsCards!
I live near it & I had to chill out for a bit cause this spot can become a 2nd home quick ha
Love their certified boxes!!
Have you been to the Rogers Ohio flea market? Also I live 5 minutes from where you went to college lol
Wish they had something like this in Australia
Awesome store Jabs!

I live right down the street from this place
What an interesting shop
I would go broke if I'd walk into that store.😀
That place is only 3 hours away....
Yes new jabs family vid
buy the 84 donruss please!🙏🙏🙏🙏
That’s where I live
Sweet video
i go there most of the time, live 20 minutes away
Jabs remember when u could trade with a card shop 75% trade and 50% on a money trade wow not any more in jax fla any way
😍 😍
The videos would be better if you got rid of the date time stamp.
Bbce' s stand at the national is so much more impressive than the store
Leaving their inventory at the store during the National would be counterproductive.
@@hattorihanzo2275 so why go to store
I live around their
god i want to go there!😖
Looks like a place I could go broke haha
Sweet
I was there on that day
Like an hour after you but still
That is my LCS.
Those scammers
Hey everybody
🤯
all their packs are surched
I would be in so much trouble if i walk in there with my wallet
Why don’t you record with a real camera? Love the videos but the quality could be better
