Your shows are like a blend of All Creatures Great And Small, Bonanza, The Travel Channel, Food Network, and This Old House. Hope you have a fabulous summer of building!
Absolutely BRILLIANT video! Thank you for sharing the beauty of Mammoth and surrounding areas. Even the Adirondacks where I grew up, pale in comparison. I was drawn to your channel because of the ridiculous snowfall last winter and the amazing digging out. I can see why you're giving quotes for repairs, seems you and your team are very knowledgeable when it comes to building and construction. God Bless!!
Just love the scenery it is so picturesque. I am impressed with all you got going on, especially building the solar and battery plant. Kudos to your work ethic and your informed commentary. Enjoy, as you say, "God's Country".
WOW you guys are BUSY! Like I said this past winter you all are a blessing to the community there. Look at all the people who need you for various repairs. It is also unbelievable the beautiful scenery you provide in the videos and so informative. I pray God continue to Bless you all.
Wow, that is quite a view. The waterfall, not the exc. Casey La Delle (YT) is a tow guy in Oregon. He does this often; get a heavy wrecker and use the stumps for added support. Add a couple of winches too.
I love watching your videos the view of the falls coming off that mountain was really beautiful. Hope you get you excavator rescued can’t wait to watch the video. Thanks for keeping us updated there❤️
When the wrecker gets there to winch out the mini excavator have him use a snatch block or even 2 or 3 of them to double or triple the winching power. He will need it. Also he will need to anchor one end of his truck to a nearby tree so that the excavator does not pull him into the mud. Good luck to you.
Regarding the submerged excavator, I would want two wreckers equipped with cranes and a bed of dry logs smaller than the logs in the background to pull that machine across to any dry solid ground. You then need to hoist the dead excavator onto a trailer.
Well, there’s over 170 homes that are red tag currently in Mammoth so we have FEMA up here currently assisting with people that are in trouble and lotta structural. Repairs are starting to take place so it’s just Star where do you start?
The house you are building looks great. Are the solar panels on the building at you house pumping out some good energy? In other news, how long does the battery last on theE-Bike?
If that Cat Mini has water in the intake, talk to my brother how they dry out the waterskipping sleds in 5 minutes after the occasional total sinking and back up and running for another few laps around the lakes. Be a bit more work but same process.
If I were you, I would seriously try to reach Heavy D in Sparks for a successful recovery. Unless your wrecker is built like a tank retriever, it may not get the job done. With a series of snatch blocks pulling low from the wrecker may inch it out a little, but the wrecker’s weight is no match for the load at the other end. Please be careful, as a snapped braided wrecker cable can be extremely dangerous. Best of luck.
I tried one of my buddies actually knows them and sent him a text but I just think he’s got too much going on with an awesome if they could’ve made it out here to do it though I’m gonna get 10 W. towing on board and we’re gonna have it out of there Monday
Pump out that hole even if ya gotta sleep there to watch the pump. Use some equip and get that thing out asap. Should have been a video of out on here. Sorry but true. From my couch....lol
Heavy D has an email I bet you need to make the subject pretty clear though and everyone else that knows it sending me meals with the link to this video or even just a picture of the mini excavator I don’t know how many of excavator that is, though it doesn’t look that small
@@plowbrothers365 they know what they’re doing and they’re good at it and it gives them good Contant and you also they’re also really good people. That’s also a very expensive piece of equipment.
11:50 - Bro: DIG A F'ING TRENCH AND DRAIN THAT WATER! It would take 2 guys a couple of hours to drain that mess so you could get that excavator out. No reason for this.
Edit: I want to make a suggestion about your excavator situation... Watch TH-camrs @Mattsoffroadrecovery & @Caseyladelle like I said on YT. They are recovery people and with tree-savers, winches, some heavy machinery and a snatch block or recovery ring, to double or triple pully force.. With some good thinking, you have that machine out decently quickly, I do advice to lay down either tree trunks or a official excavator mat right in front of the tracks, so it gets a pontoon to go on and out of that water.... I hope that you get it out soon and, start pumping out that water again, even if it is right on the spot of a Spring ground-spring.. the less water, the more meat to bite into to get that machine out. 7:35 What I like about that plot is that the houses you see closest by, are super well blended into the surroundings! These are moments that you need a Drone... to check out all that is to see from above, close and a bit further away just to make a full picture. Also as pre-planning what type of building fits there truly. But, I would LOVE to see that plot at night.. looking up on the town lights and from the houses close by!
Matt's Off Road Recovery... He is good... he will bring his friends along to help get you out!!!
I'm like the dogs, just enjoy the ride along!

I love the DOG STAN-OFF 😅
the horse tail falls are amazing!
They are manmade falls. SCE has a hydroelectric plant up there so they control the flow going into Silver Lake via Rush Creek.
It's lovely hanging out with you Ben and Bud and Saidie, you have a very full life.
Love from England

They’ll need to slightly pull up as well to help break the suction
Love your updates, both the work projects and the beautiful views of nature. Wow. What a great place to live and work!

Ed will get that thing out of there right quick. No doubts.
Hurry up back Ed.
Sadie and Bud working hard.
@16:07 so much water!
Horsetail falls
That waterfall in June Lake is called Horsetail Falls.
Can you give a update on those homes that had snow over the roofs

He doesn't live in Sparks, he lives in Utah.
that lil pad gonna cost a pretty penny
Surprised you don't see any mule deer or pronghorns out that way in weather like this.
I called Sadie, Ellie in another video.... lol... my good friends dog, who can pass as a twin, her name is Ellie! *sorry, Miss Sadie!* 😅
The dead wrecker id be calling my insurance company

You guys destroyed that machine. You could have got it out 2 weeks ago with a wrecker. I must be insured for this kind of a loss
Thanks for the heads up

If iy wont start and move on its own. Your going to have a lot of suction under that machine.
