I agree with Scott 100% on the connemara. I have ALL of the various bottlings and the older and higher the abv the worse they get. I don’t think they’re doing the cuts right and they’re dipping into the feints (tail) WAY too much.
Seems like you guys preferred the Feeling Single Malt... Might buy that instead of this when I get the cash to splash... Or should I get Redbreast? So many Whiskeys, so little time!
Got a new job, so Redbreast Yestau (actually probably 12) will be on the shopping list at the end of the month! Thanks for the guidance, Dummies! :) @@ScotchTestDummies
I'm weird. I like both the Connemara and the Blackpitts. I haven't tried the cask strength.
85? Who can forget Bart's epic 79 score on the subpar-peated Scorched a few years back?
Bingo

excellent, thanks Erik!
I liked the Connemara 12yo, I haven't tried the standard version.

I also almost can’t finish Connemara..
10/100 agree.
We just re-reviewed it and it got a much better score
@@ScotchTestDummies if I’m not mistaken, the plasticky taste/smell that I almost can’t bare..
Just happened to try this last night. A little peaty, but not burning pirate ship. Some complexity to it.
I think I'm one of the few that really love Connemara. #bartisawookie
Hi boys, there is a cask strength at 56.5% abv that is yummy.
Maybe with the coming peat shortage next year they couldn’t really make it peated.
This was definitely better than Connemara.
