A small tip, before crimping, slide the crimp up to the loop, snip the tag and very slightly blob it, then slide the crimp back to touch the blob. If the crimp slips (the packaging on the Boom material says not to create a loop as it can slip), then the blip stops the tag end being pulled out the crimp.

Best thing I did was to buy the krimp set about 4 years ago, because boy are those expensive now.

Please dont get get mugged off, always blob the tag end,its a myth about the crimps, make sure there copper not brass as it splits, here for you and the fish not the product or learn to tie avperfection loop, end of,catch an average fish first, then learn with a lost chunk, cos you didnt take any notice 🔥🙏🇬🇧

Hi Felip, I have been using them this way since they were launched and landed loads of fish to well over 40lb, including catfish to over 50lb and even pulled out snags from our syndicate water and never has one failed me or my fishing partner. I do use the perfection loop as well, but in testing the krimps in our digital knot/line tester they have always given the desired result. I also test my booms in my Pulla Tools before using them. 👌🏻🇿🇦👊🏻
