@@jennjenn01 hi! Since the dc stitches are thicker, I put the plastic washer backwards (the rounded part of the washer towards the eye) and it made it much easier to secure the eyes! I hope it helps.
I just finished the row with the eye’s popcorn stitches. I followed the pattern exactly as said and My eyes are not in the place they should be. One is way too close to the middle of the frogs face. I am using a thinner chenille yarn and a size 5.00 hook. Maybe that’s why?
@@brittanyoakes5291 hi Brittany! Oh no, I don’t know why that happened. I would suggest maybe going over the tutorial again & double checking if you missed any stitches? I try to be as precise in my tutorials, but I know it’s not always perfect. The size of your hook and yarn shouldn’t influence this though! It will only change the texture and/or the size of your project. I hope it works out!! 🤞🏻
@@LoopandBillie Hi there, I also had the same problem with the eyes as above. I altered the stitches as follows:- sc4, popcorn, sc7, popcorn, sc11 = 24 stitches. Did make the eyes more central on the front of the frog 😀
Better explanation then any other tutorial on TH-cam! Thank you!
@@oneilann4 oh wow thank you!! ☺️ hopefully they’ll just get better and better!
Your instructions and video were impeccable! Thank you!
@@reginapastula9010 aw thank you!! I’m glad you liked it and were able to follow!
Love this video. Thank u
@@Elizabethcrafting123 thank you!!
FINALLY. Video of this pattern that I can follow! Only tip I'd say is to put in writing what you're doing on the screen too ❤
@@CrochetWithKat thank you! I’m glad you like it. Yes! I will take that in consideration and make better videos 🥰
Do we reverse direction when we get to the eye row?
Maybe that’s my problem
I made one! I used blanket yarn and the eyes come out so easily when placed in between dc stitches. Did you experience that problem with yours?

Hi just wanted to ask how long did it take you to crochet the frog?
Hi! It would take 30 min to an hour max! It’s a pretty quick project :)
