I don’t think he was material enough at any point in time to take on that job and so he just acted like a two-year-old like a boy Jason all the way home and so forth got power crazy. He let all that stuff override his real care for somebody to care for him
The more I watched this the more I disliked him. He used all the women for sex. They were so ignorant. To want his favor
they're not ignorant. they know what theyre doing bc they know what they'll get for getting his favor. they're literally just using each other, and it seems like ruyi is the only one (at least, at this time) that really cares for the emperor, not just bc of his power but bc of who he truly is. unfortunately, the emperor never deserved ruyi.

I don't get the point of getting angry for his real birth mother
@@minerva8906 it’s because her real birth mother was a lowly servant. in the official records, her birth mother is zhen huan but everybody knows that qianlomg was born from a servant girl that the emperor didn’t even like because according to the rumors, she was ugly too and it only happened as a one time thing when qianlong’s dad got drunk as a prince. Qianlong’s grandpa even got mad at qianlong’s dad because of it and he was almost stopped being considered as an heir, so qianlong’s dad wasn’t fond of qianlong and his mom (i dont remember when all of these were mentioned, i think it was mentioned in the legend of zhen huan) if it weren’t for zhen huan (current empress dowager) being fond of qianlong who she considered as her son, taught him stuff, and helped him gain his father’s attention and affection, qianlong would’ve lived his life as an abandoned prince in the summer palace (not in the forbidden city). He would’ve barely met his father, and these are all bc of the status of his birth mother.
