Genesis 1:26 is a prophetic language. God is already including the then future Christ in His plan to make man in His own image. God is still creating/working on man until this day, because we are not yet fully transformed in His own image. We are not perfect yet, but when we are already in Heaven in a glorified body, then that will only be the time that the Creation of Man is finally complete (in His own image).

No! Fishers of men, bring men to Christ and they follow Him as they did when the Samaritan woman at Joseph’s well did. The people said, we believe not just because you told us but because we have now met Him. Remember these were the same people who drove Jesus out after the pigs’ episode.
You're right. 1 Cor 11:1 We lead as we follow, just as Christ followed the will of His Father and the example of His Father by doing what His Father did. So scripture says that we should imitate those who imitate Christ who imitates His Father. So, others should follow us as we follow Christ. Of course all should follow Christ, but it's the same spirit acting in us all, if in fact it's the Spirit of Christ. Dr. Munroe has written many books on being a leader. Actually, one does not lead resources, because resources can't decide to follow. We lead people and manage resources. Dr. Munroe, as powerful and enlightened as he was, never claimed infallibility. I do believe, however, that what is missing here is the focus that what God is doing in us is not ultimately for this life, which is temporary, and the one who is in dominion over the Earth today, but is now in development for full fruition in Christ's kingdom established on Earth, which is yet to come. Although Jesus was King when he walked the Earth, he did not walk in the ultimate expression of His glory. Instead he presented as a humble servant, leading by serving and offering Himself. When He returns He will present in the full glory of His kingship, and we will share in the full expression of that glory and in the full function of our creation and purpose. I would say that being a "fisher of men" is "catching" or "gathering", but after they've been caught or gathered, if God has placed you in that office, they must then be led.

But the apostle Paul qualifies what is meant when he says that the male is in God's image--or once was-- but that the woman is in the image of the male. The old testament was written long before the new testament and spoke nothing of the trinity. If it were the trinity, IT WOULD HAVE SAID SO just like they blatantly said so in the new testament! Lastly, read the old testament in the hebrew language and that will be your proof. Broaden your mind!
If you have truly read the bible in its hebrew language, you would know that in chapter one, God did not create the complete earth in 6 days; just renewed and repaired parts of the existing earth . Only the top layers of the earth(the terrain) is really about 7,000 years old. But, the actual earth itself is billions of years old. ONLY Genesis 1:1 says that "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth", but in THAT one verse it NEVER says how long it took initially to create a whole earth. Then, in the next verse, [it is mistranslated] 1:2 should read "but, then it (the earth) BECAME without form" because something happened resulting in layers of the earth's surface to be destroyed [scientists say that the earth collided with a comet long ago.] The bible then mentions that Elohim created a mankind (males and females) in heaven that later came to planet earth to REPLENISH and REPOPULATE it! See Genesis 1:28

Genesis 1:26 is a prophetic language. God is already including the then future Christ in His plan to make man in His own image.

Yes thats true, we are to lead resources. But we are also to lead people. What does Jesus meant when He say Come follow me and I will make you a fishers of man. This is leading people right?
No! Fishers of men, bring men to Christ and they follow Him as they did when the Samaritan woman at Joseph’s well did. The people said, we believe not just because you told us but because we have now met Him. Remember these were the same people who drove Jesus out after the pigs’ episode.
You're right. 1 Cor 11:1 We lead as we follow, just as Christ followed the will of His Father and the example of His Father by doing what His Father did. So scripture says that we should imitate those who imitate Christ who imitates His Father. So, others should follow us as we follow Christ. Of course all should follow Christ, but it's the same spirit acting in us all, if in fact it's the Spirit of Christ. Dr. Munroe has written many books on being a leader. Actually, one does not lead resources, because resources can't decide to follow. We lead people and manage resources. Dr. Munroe, as powerful and enlightened as he was, never claimed infallibility.
I do believe, however, that what is missing here is the focus that what God is doing in us is not ultimately for this life, which is temporary, and the one who is in dominion over the Earth today, but is now in development for full fruition in Christ's kingdom established on Earth, which is yet to come. Although Jesus was King when he walked the Earth, he did not walk in the ultimate expression of His glory. Instead he presented as a humble servant, leading by serving and offering Himself. When He returns He will present in the full glory of His kingship, and we will share in the full expression of that glory and in the full function of our creation and purpose.
I would say that being a "fisher of men" is "catching" or "gathering", but after they've been caught or gathered, if God has placed you in that office, they must then be led.

First of all, this is a third-party video artwork and an excerpt taken from a sermon preached to accomplish it. Myles Munroe made a mistake in the sermon as do preachers do. If he was still alive he would have corrected it had you asked him. How do I know? Because he used adam in another sermon. The word ish he used was for male and female is isha. The definition he gave was correct as pertaining to the word adam.

Only the male is made in God's image. Genesis appears to say that both male and female are made in God,'s image. But the apostle Paul qualifies what is meant when he says that the male is in God's image--or once was-- but that the woman is in the image of the male. @@SanctifiedLady I Cor. 11:7 on the male being in the image of God. On the nature of God, there are no trinitarian proof texts. Overwhelmingly--De. 6:4, Eph. 4:4-5, Is. 44:24, I Cor. 8:4, Heb. 1:3, etc.. God is almost always called a singular Being/Person by use of the pronouns I, thee, thou, me. When He is said to be a plurality, it is not multiple Persons that is meant, but a plurality of majesty. God is not a family of individuals, but a relational Being within Himself.

Moreover, the bible never said that the generation in Genesis 1:26 were made of clay or have their nostrils breathed into bc they were created outside of earth on their own planets with animals and fish that needed to be created by the council of Gods or Elohim.
The old testament was written long before the new testament and spoke nothing of the trinity. If it were the trinity, IT WOULD HAVE SAID SO just like they blatantly said so in the new testament!
Lastly, read the old testament in the hebrew language and that will be your proof. Broaden your mind!
If you have truly read the bible in its hebrew language, you would know that in chapter one, God did not create the complete earth in 6 days; just renewed and repaired parts of the existing earth . Only the top layers of the earth(the terrain) is really about 7,000 years old. But, the actual earth itself is billions of years old. ONLY Genesis 1:1 says that "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth", but in THAT one verse it NEVER says how long it took initially to create a whole earth. Then, in the next verse, [it is mistranslated] 1:2 should read "but, then it (the earth) BECAME without form" because something happened resulting in layers of the earth's surface to be destroyed [scientists say that the earth collided with a comet long ago.] The bible then mentions that Elohim created a mankind (males and females) in heaven that later came to planet earth to REPLENISH and REPOPULATE it! See Genesis 1:28
