I did it on purpose because this motorcycle is only used in summer and in my opinion it doesn't need a thermostat. I also disconnected the carburetor heating system.
@@p-enduropotoki2966 i can recommend to use the thermostat. Its purpose is to make the engine warm up faster. The carburetor heating system is for warm up the fuel to prevent condensation. But this didn't have a big impact.

Make attachment for spark socket to fit drill and then spin the cylinder head against emery paper on sheet of glass
In this case the head was too bent to apply the method you described
