Beautiful playing. I like the tone of this amp. Can't wait to pick one up for fun. I wanna try this trough a cab with some greenbacks or V30's. The stock speaker is no brand 4 Ohm 12 inch. I have a few spare speakers laying around so that be great. New these are 229-250 euro so second hand will be fun. Could be cool for budget stereo rig or head conversion. So much possibilities. I also wonder how the MOSFETs are implemented like as clipping (OCD style) or like amplification (MT10 or MOSFET 100H).
Hi! Nice tone, very warm and responsive. What's about the volume? can the Debut with 50w rms fights in a band (grunge rock cover) with another guitar, bass and drummer? tnx
The only thing I don't like about this is the 4 ohm speaker that comes with it. I would definitely want to swap the speaker out and I don't know many speaker companies that make a good speaker that isn't strictly in a 8 ohm or 16 ohm format.
I just ordered one today, and searched for speakers. I found out the same thing, nobody makes 12 inch 4 ohm speakers. Turns out the that only solid state amps use them. I finally found a company called Weber that makes a 12 inch 30 watt 4 ohm speaker for $134.
@@joaoferreira7672 Hi my friend, it’s good for classic rock, so I think it can be tweaked to sound like Slash if you use a Les Paul style guitar. I played in a cover band with it for some easy venues, and we covered Sweet Child, Welcome To The Jungle and Paradise City. Cheers!
What do you think of the clean channel? Is it loud and does it break up in a natural way? I am not crazy about the gain on this amp, it's decent sounding though and sounds fine here
Sounds really good! Nice playing btw. I have an orange crush 35rt that is also analog but I am not really impressed with the gain channel. Have you played an orange crush? If so how does it compare with this amp? I am thinking of swapping for this one when they release.
Thanks Liam! The gain of solid state cannot be as good as tube, but for the money I am happy. It’s easy to practice without being too careful like handling tube amps. I haven’t played Orange Crush yet.
If tone & feel is more important, Debut 50R is better because it's analogue(only digital reverb), and it gives your correct touch/response, which means your guitar has direct communication with your amp. Boss Kanata is digital and it gives your more functions, but it doesn't feel as real as analogue amps.
@zengzeng9173 better check on Katana spec. It is all analogue with A/B power section. The Blackstar is all analogue with a class D power section. There shouldn't be much between them in feel.

Yes Johnny!! Sounding great sir!! 🙂

Hi mate, can you get a good guns n roses/slash tone with this amp? Cheers from Portugal

does it come with a footswitch
No
I am pleasantly surprised with this being such an inexpensive amp 😮

Yes, the cleans are what makes or brakes a supposedly "all arounder" gigging amp. Let the pedals handle the dirt!
On other reviews clean tone sounds really neutral and sterile but your demo has some character to it. Have you tried it with headphones?

I am not surprised.
The drive sound is from overdrive channel or you use a pedal?

Sounds like an expensive amp!!
Masses of reverb.
Or you are playing it in the bathroom lol.
Sounds OK though.
I was testing in a big empty classroom.
