I have a queen sized 40 year old quilt that turned from cream to pink...😢 how much water and Synthrapol do I need to use?

I have a vintage USC starter jacket that the burgundy bleed on to the white and now it looks pinkish. Will this Synthrapol work to fix the white on this jacket?
