Very nice progress and again, nice ideas for handling the canopy and marking the cut lines. It is always great to learn these tricks to keep in the back of one's mind for the next project. Thx for sharing!
Hey Cliff, I haven’t commented, but, I’ve been watching your progress. That is a neat build…, showing some interesting details. I am enjoying this. Take care and Cheers to you!
Great job Cliff !A little tip I picked up from a Du Bro video is using a product called “rail zip”on your hinge pivots to stop the glue from sticking them it works really well and no mess !Merry Christmas
Thanks for the tip Mitch, I've not heard of that product but just you wait for Part Ten this weekend when I open with a flame 😁 Merry Christmas to you to 👍
Cliff great looking canopy and covering of the Elevator. I just hit the Vaseline with the heat gun which pools up some liquid Vaseline for dipping the hinges. Jeff in LA USA
Love the pilot, looks a bit like the old Francis Chichester. Known as a long distance sailor, but prior to that made some amazing long distance flights. Navigating to Pacific Islands by bubble sextant! No gps in those days. 😮
Nice build, always a joy to watch you.. Your pilot is indeed way too small, a common issue with model gliders. Consider that the feet of the real pilot are pretty much in the very nose of the fuselage. Merry Christmas!
Pete made a lovely job of it, just pleased I could do it justice. The pilot is me yes, from a photograph into software ... it's not a caricature though 😅
Great progress on the Lunak Glider build this week, slow, but interesting. If you're new to the Channel and want to be kept up to date of my weekly uploads hit that Subscribe button, don't be shy!
Quite the build Cliff. This one will be special I have a feeling. The canopy looks great.
Thanks Adam, it's good to get stuck in on a bigger build over a Winter, keeps your mind off the weather!

@@gblackhead Thank you, good morning 🙂🤪
Canopy looked great 👍
Good forward thinking on the elevator covering 😊
Another great instalment Cliff
Thanks Mike, forward thinking is the name of the game isn't it ... only comes after many mistakes!
That Canopy really sets her off, btw I think you're heads big enough 😊.
@@MarkCroucherRC4fun Thanks Mark ... I think! 😁
You can thin down Vaseline with Lighter Fluid, paint it on or spray it on. The solvent flashes off leaving a nice thin film of Vaseline.👍
All these different ways Paul, cheers 👍

Great progress Cliff, now I know what you used the tea light for. 😊
Thanks Chris 👍
Some sterling work Cliff, canopy looks fab, nice of your friend to mould them for you!! Is the pilot a caricature of yourself, I wasn't quite sure 😀👍
