Mad Like The Devil

I made this film during my senior year of high school. I am graduating college soon and I have learned a lot about making movies since high school, but this film will always remain an important chapter in my journey as a filmmaker. A million thanks to all the people that followed me on the crazy journey that was Mad Like The Devil.
For 38 days stretched over 5 months we would head into the desert to film. We didn't know what we were doing, but with great passion and determination we accomplished our goal and learned a lot along the way. The film was completed, but never released.
I decided to revisit the project, streamlining it to make it more watchable. I have removed a lot of pointless and meandering dialogue, as well as a few unnecessary and immature scenes and moments. Naturally there are many immature and unrefined elements still present in the film, it was made by high schoolers, but I think that there is still a lot to appreciate in this piece. Imagine being in high school and going out to the desert every weekend to play cowboy and make a movie.

well. i gotta say i have seen worse movies in the theatres. for a bunch oh high school kids you did a pretty good job. some of the acting wasnt bad at all. pretty decent camera work. good action scenes and decent special effects ie squibs. if i had bought this for five bucks in the bargain bin i wouldnt have been dissappointed.
