This light stand is kinda not sturdy enough because the light and soft box are so large; the whole thing can tip over easily. But it's what I use! 😆 Or you can perhaps find another light stand that is rated to hold more weight. Or just put something heavy (like sandbags) onto the bottom to lower the center of gravity.

He shouldn't of thrown away the jokers and ad cards unless he were to be able to have those cards gathered back onto his body. Because those cards are back into the box but, I bet the originals were still on the ground.
Real question, how come your vids get demonetized, but I regularly watch Marvel show recaps/explanation videos with tons of clips and content that is repackaged by the presenter, and I assume he's getting paid?
@Marc Bertucco Not sure about his arrangement... possibly just because he is using short little clips. But I have to include the whole magician's performance because... magic. We need the chance to see the whole thing to also have the chance to be fooled by the performance. If I just take little clips, it wouldn't be the same.
Dude, that final vanish is just incredible. I have only two ideas how he performed that Ace of Hearts vanish, but whoa…that is just unreal to pull it off that cleanly in front of the judges.

The awkwardness of this perfectly nice and down to earth guy having to make small talk with four narcissistic lunatics. That was his best trick.
This dude is very talented. It's obviously a variation on Shawn Farquhar's effect with the sealed card deck (without the original jokers) but it was done differently and with absolute perfection.
You can actually see the jokers when he pulls the Ace of spades. They were just underneath. (Slide the ace back in, in the wrong position🤔).
But honestly, one of the greatest performances I've ever seen. So clean!
Simon is the best audience for a magician. He legit believes that if something can't be explained it's magic. Ha

I watched Shin Lim. I watch Penn and Teller. This guy can fool them. Outstanding illusion/magic whatever you want to call it, especially when he opens the second deck and their signed cards are there, in the order they're supposed to be in. I've never seen that magic before and my jaw dropped. Patrick Kun is special, no doubt about it, can't wait to see his next show.

His techniques are top shelf. I’m glad we saw a clip of his wife showing support for him just before the performance so we don’t assume he’s crushing his most personal relationships for a dream. I’m hopeful his parents have come around by now.

Hey thanks! BTW, I see you've got a nice YT channel about sound engineering. Very cool. I was a software developer for 12 years, but I've never touched sound engineering... it's still somewhat of a mystery to me, even though occasionally I will watch the odd tutorial about it on TH-cam when trying to remedy a sound issue in one of my YT videos! A mazing magic trick

Thursday was my birthday and I had fun
The color change is the most basic erdnase color change but in very smooth way
Was very impressed with this guy

The vanish is a variation on erdnase colour change.

I try to remember to 'like' all your videos because I know it helps in the algorithm for suggestions in people's feeds. HOWEVER the notification bell does absolutely nothing for viewers. I wish it actually notified me because I wouldn't have missed a month of your videos. Am I alone here? is this happening to anyone else as well? so many channels that I've belled 'all' aren't even showing up anymore.
It's most likely due to your actual TH-cam app settings on your phone and/or PC.

At 9.15 look at his left hand.. He takes a box from his pocket and keeps the card on top so that it looks like a deck. And afterwards you can see him inserting those cards in a box.. Not just keeping on top.
He has sealed boxes with the bottom open and loads the cards into them at the end. The rest of it is just really good sleight of hand.

I don't know how he got the cards in the wrapper at the end but you could see when he picked up the aces at the end of the act he was sliding them into the correct positions in the deck for the final reveal.
Psst - it's real magic, as Patrick himself said to Simon during the performance. Most people are in denial on it however to deal with their fear of what they don't understand. I spent a couple of years researching the subject of real magic and the nature of reality. A lot of these unknown magicians need to make such videos to make themselves feel better about themselves for being nobodies and unable to do the magic of the elite magicians.
08:37 I'm not a professional at card magic but I do know few things about gimmicks and elastics - and I think that is how the card vanish was made (the one you watched 3 times) if you get what I mean. The card is already half way in and then just release when you are in the middle. Am I right?
