for the ulta lip oils, each "shade" is actually just the scent/flavor! on the ulta description it says each one of them goes on clear, so the scent is all you're choosing. if you dont like the scent of the rose one maybe try the other flavors! 💖
Amanda Z it’s just that color to indicate the flavor. Such as lip essential oils are yellowish and pomegranate oils tend to be pink. Also to make it look cute on the outside and not to make it clear. Hope this helped! :)

I used to work at NYX and the ThisIsEverything Lip Oil was one of our best sellers, the clear one to be exact. It has a faint pleasant smell. And is exactly as you described it, super luscious on the lips without looking like theres a lot of product on the lips. Comfortable to wear and not greasy at all but definitely a nice slip to them.

I trust your recs so much, I'll be checking out the Covergirl, Ulta and Chapstick 👀 I really wanted a sheer lip color like the Burt's Bees matte lipstick (I heard it's a dupe for Glossier's Generation G) but my lips are so chronically dry 😭 I'm going to go this route instead!!

Have you tried NYX Butter Glosses?? They are really comfortable, thin texture, non sticky, pretty shades and moisturizing! I have really dry lips and they are really easy and comfortable to use!!😍 The shade Praline is my MLBB shade
I would highly recommend the LA colors lip oils they are only a dollar, and are carried at my local dollar tree. They do not last long, but I know that’s typical of a lip oil. The pink cherry scented and tinted one is my favorite.
So I bought the Revlon lip gloss you showed in one of your videos and I love it! It's so pillowy on the lips, ot honestly looks better than glossier. I like to put it on on top of my lipsticks with my finger and it doesn't cause my lipsticks to melt and migrate! Amazing stuff, will forever be buying it
Berry Kiss?! Well now I and all other "The Holiday" fans have to buy that shade lol! Also, the clear versions of the Chapstick lip oils are great too! The Peach Tea scented one is my favorite.

My mom bought me the chapstick lip oil (in the shade blushed bronze) a couple months ago and I didn’t really like it when I first tried it. However, after watching this video, I decided to try the lip oil out again. I still think this lip oil formulation is a bit on the thicker side (which is why I didn’t like it at first) but it does stay on the lips for hours (even as I drank my coffee out of a mug) and kept my lips hydrated! If you prefer lip balm but you want to venture into lip gloss/lip oil for that glossy look, I recommend the chapstick hydrating lip oil! Yes, the texture can be might feel a bit thick when you first try it out, but it really is a lovely product!
Hey Amanda thank you for this video. I have the Almay lip oil in stick in Dulce de Leche . Though I,love the color and the feel, it has these sparkles in it that after the product comes off your left with these sparkles on your lips. They tend to migrate , if they didn’t have those in there I certainly would buy more. Thanks to you I have some other great choices💕

The orig NYX Lip Lingerie formula was dry AF. I don't think I ever wore mine but twice bc of that. So sounds like the "oil" version is maybe a satin liquid lip? Or what people wish the original would have been! But dabbing a bit of Vaseline/balm/jojoba oil over & in w/ any liquid lip to make it more comfortable/flattering likely gives the same effect--it's how I survived the liquid lip years lol.

I think this is a super channel and would love to see it grow. It would be helpful in that respect if you didn't focus so heavily on products that aren't available outside the US. Chapstick, Ulta, EM Cosmetics, Covergirl, none of these are available in Europe. These companies won't even ship abroad.

I will say if you don’t like lip stains so much because of how they dry down. I would really suggest looking into Korean lip stains. They are on a whole other level, and are just incredible. I’m extremely picky about lip stains, because I can’t wear lipstick ( I think I’m allergic to something in them, I feel the product in my lung, no matter the brand or formula 😢) but anyway Korean lip stain are just incredible and are know to have some of the best formulation and great price. And lots of them can be moisturizing depending of what lip stain your looking for.

I made the mistake of buying Dior's lip oil. 35$ (that's without the tax and shipping). I figured because Dior is a fancy brand that surely it would be a great product! Yeaaah no. Its thick like a gloss, but not even a nice gloss. And it is not nourishing to my lips at all. I gave up on it after the 4th use. Such a waste of money...

The Clarins lip oil is excellent. It’s thick not sticky and really moisturizing. The berry scent is awesome!

I think you might like the Nooni Apple berry lip oil and the Inn Beauty lip oil. They’re both fantastic and affordable!
