광교푸른숲도서관을 시작으로 전망대에서 호수공원을 내려다 본 뒤, 호수공원을 따라 산책로를 걷고 광교 힐스테이트 아파트와 광교 더샵 레이크파크 아파트의 상가들을 차례대로 지납니다. 해가 지고 한층 더 아름다워진 저녁 산책로를 지나 광교 엘리웨이를 방문합니다.

Today, let's take a walk in the beautiful Gwanggyo Lake Park and Alleyway market located in Gwanggyo New Town in Yeongtong-gu, Suwon-si, Gyeonggi-do.(60min) Starting with Gwanggyo Forest Library, we look at the lake park from the observation deck. Then walk along Gwanggyo Lake Park, passing through Gwanggyo Hillstate Apartments and Gwanggyo Lake Park Apartments. Walk the evening trail at sunset, and finally visit Gwanggyo Alleyway market.

Gwanggyo Lake Park (Korean: 광교호수공원; Hanja: 光敎湖水公園; RR: Gwanggyo Hosu Gongwon) is a park in Ha-dong, Yeongtong-gu, Suwon, South Korea, with 3 million visitors each year.
Gwanggyo refers to a planned city surrounding Yeongtong-gu of Suwon and Suji-gu of Yongin. Gwanggyo is located 25 km south away from Seoul in Suwon city and Youngin city, Gyeonggi province. Gwanggyo newtown area 11 square kilometers was designated in 2004 by Gyeonggi Province, Suwon city, Youngin city, and Gyeonggi Development Corporation(GICO). It will accommodate more than 31,000 households. Gwanggyo newtown was not only for the housing supply but also for several regional goals such as provincial office movement, convention center building, and creating economic growth core in Gyeonggi provincial area. Its infrastructure was scheduled to be constructed by 2012.
Suwon[a] (Korean: 수원; Hanja: 水原, Korean pronunciation: [su.wʌn]) is the capital and largest metropolis of Gyeonggi-do, South Korea's most populous province which surrounds Seoul, the national capital. Suwon lies about 30 km (19 mi) south of Seoul. It is traditionally known as "The City of Filial Piety". With a population close to 1.2 million, it is larger than Ulsan, although it is not governed as a metropolitan city.
Suwon has existed in various forms throughout Korea's history, growing from a small settlement to become a major industrial and cultural center. It is the only remaining completely walled city in South Korea. The city walls are one of the more popular tourist destinations in Gyeonggi Province. Samsung Electronics R&D center and headquarters are in Suwon. The city is served by two motorways, the national railway network, and the Seoul Metropolitan Subway. Suwon is a major educational center, home to 11 universities.
Suwon is home to football club Suwon Samsung Bluewings, which have won the K League on four occasions[4] and AFC Champions League twice. The KT Wiz of the Korea Baseball Organization also play in Suwon.
Later, during the Joseon Dynasty, King Jeongjo made an ultimately unsuccessful attempt to make Suwon the nation's capital in 1796. Part of this project was the construction of Hwaseong Fortress, a fortified wall running around the entire city partially intended to guard the tomb of his father, Prince Sado, which he had located there.
The walls were one of Korea's first examples of paid labour, (corvée labour being common previously). The walls still exist today, though they (together with the fortress) were damaged severely during the Korean War.
Hwaseong originally was constructed under the guidance of philosopher Jeong Yag-yong. Shortly after the death of King Jeongjo (1800), a white paper detailing the construction of the fortress was published. This proved invaluable during its reconstruction in the 1970s.
The fortress walls once encircled the entire city, but modern urban growth has seen the city spread out far beyond the fortress. The walls are now a designated UNESCO World Heritage site,[8] and often are used in materials promoting the city.

와 광교 살기좋다 말만 들었는데 실제로 보니 넘 예쁘고 좋네요. 상가들도 예쁘게 밀집되어 있고 제일 처음에 나온 공원 너무 예뻐요. 아이 키우는 집이면 정말 살고 싶은 곳이네요.

@@wow88121 I don' t live there and it' s irrilevant togheher with the fact that Suwon is autosufficient. Everyone can see in the maps the sprawling of megacities, considered by many one singular agglomeration. Every city has its strategy to accommodate growing population and Seoul made a lot of satellite cities around its borders since 90's. Today there is not any element to distinguish them except the administrative use since both are growth with no urban control. In 20 years the entire north region of Seoul will have not free land except his mountains (for cultural reasons)

I grew up in Inchon, and moved to US in 92. Compared to Korea when I left, the country feels much different now(at least some of these newer developments)..., it feels so much more livable - cleaner, greener, and more thought put into things.

He also was project manager of Universal American Enterprice, Too bad. I also had a dream to build mind blowing car with Hundai

I am staying Korea now, it is sooooo lucky for me...No COVID19 in Seoul anymore.... they already overcame everything with their power....and they help me lot of things without payment..... very wonderful and rich country....Free food free medical service free house... all people sooo kind and very safe they do not need steal others because they are very rich and have warm heart Thank you sooo much South Korea

I have been to many cities here and over seas but I just cannot get over the beauty that Korea express through everything. Just leave me longing to be a part of it! Harry Fishnuts No, only through the eyes of Seoul Walker. I have wanted to come ever since I was 12. I have been studying about their culture for a long time. The language is my hiccup. I have such a southern accent it is hard to pronounce them correctly. Plus it is hard to pick up and move there without a job. Have you been there?

Harry Fishnuts when I was 12 my History teacher gave us extra credit to get involved with a pen pal program with students there in Seoul. So I thought it would be nice to do. So I did the program for three years but once I moved for some reason we lost contact, so anyway I still stayed interested in the culture. So it just went from there.

I have never been to Suwon when I was in Korea.
It's so amazing
I lived in Gangnam, so I never had to leave Seoul.
I left Seoul only when I was traveling.

My nephew Paul Kim mother's birth place. She was My bother's wife, Both passed away several years ago in USA. Suwon is very beautiful and nice city. Much improved than when i visited this place in !950 from Incheon.
I can’t wait to travel out of the country once everything starts going back to normal ...I miss South Korea. This country is literally so beautiful and I had one of the best times exploring when I went in May 2019. Now to bring my babygirl along to experience Korea with me.
