Facts about Ikki 1. She can talk fast like Aang did when he drank some tea to go into the Avatar State 2. Speaking of that, she can go into the Avatar State & is not an Avatar. Only happens when she’s not invited into big girl talk (This is a joke) 3. She’s unhinged 4. Not an Ikki fact. But Korra’s face 1:48 mixed with CardboardCorner’s laugh is perfect
Some people say that Mako, Bolin and Asami are boring, well that's not true! ..... Well maybe Mako later falls a little, but despite that I think they are a fair and excellent new version of the team avatar.
Yeah, their personalities are really fleshed out imo. They actually do stuff like in EVERY season. Idk i feel like the relationship that this iteration of team avatar clearly operates DIFFERENTLY than the og squad, since they ARE older and actually have lives OUTSIDE this avatar mission bs. Like this really is a comparison thing. They cannot get their minds off of atla's meat.
Imo their personalities are what exactly Korra needs for a team. Korra’s already an impatient hot head who lacks restraint, she needs friends who can balance her out.
Oh this is a good episode. To see just how far this conflict has escalated - that Tarrlok has gone far too long - denying people their basic needs for living, arresting anyone for so much as to dare to question him. Honestly Amon may have a point, the world may be better if at least Tarrlok didn’t have his bending. The duel between Tarrlok and Korra is awesome the way it ends with hom bloodbending despite it not being a full moon, something that completely breaks the rules of this world but in a good as it makes him so much more terrifying - whatever he is planning for Korra can’t be pretty. Next episode is actually my favorite of the season. Oh and I love how Aang was like What! i said i'd rather kiss you then die, that's a compliment while his grandson is like may we meet again beautiful woman, and can i have some of your pretty hair? And Tenzin going back just to say to the chief that he’s the worst one ever - was really funny to me
I feel like tarrlok knows exactly what he's doing. He needs an enemy strong enough to warrant his own overt acts of force, so who cares if he drives more nonbenders to the equalist movement? He's only reinforcing the conflict between his crusade aagainst a common enemy that he believes he can crush.
I think is interesting to notice how mad Tarrlok got when Korra said he was worst than Amon. I think that in his own twisted way he truly thinks he is doing the right thing, wich is a far more dangerous mindset imo.
It is kinda weird that he became so villainous all at once. I'm guessing they were trying to build it up but just ran into time restraints with the whole season only being 12 ep. Watching this again it is strange that korra seems to be on somewhat good terms with him in ep 6, she even appeals to him over tenzin to keep the arena open, but suddenly she hates him in this one. I'm guessing something got cut.
I like Korra a lot but this episode to me highlights some of the problems with the Bending vs Nonbending narrative- HOW are there non-bender only city blocks? That's not how Bending works, Benders and Nonbenders are born into the same families all the time (Katara and Sokka??), we even saw identical twins once where only one was a Bender Suddenly treating Benders like they're a whole seperate type of people entirely feels off without additional context that the show doesnt reeeeally provide.
I think it’s realistic that families with benders get the higher paying jobs, so they afford nicer housing, while families without bending tend to struggle for their money. These are families of non benders yes, but it’s not saying the wealthy benders don’t have non bender family members as well. The non benders who live with a bender probably don’t care enough about the issue, but that doesn’t mean a full family of non benders won’t be living different lives.
@Gamelover254 That still doesn't work cause all of these Nonbenders could still have more Bender kids anytime children are born. An entirely Nonbender city block of this size just feels highly improbable in this world. The idea of Benders automatically getting higher paying jobs also falls apart when in the show we see a large amount of Benders exploited in factories (and technically Probending) as well as needing to resort to crime.
8:31 i fu**ing hate that! Probably one of the few things I really despise about the show. I'm happy I was used only twice in season one and only once in season four, because fart humor is so damn cringe 😬 *THINGS LIKE FART AND/OR POOP HUMOR ARE FUCKING DEAD!* Phew. I feel lighter.

It is just a subjective opinion

i dont think they have as good of synergy as the gaang but they're still a great time imo
The reveal that Tarrlok is a bloodbender is so good
2:07 Agree, one of the funniest moments in the cartoon.
LOOOL HIS FACE WHEN THE COPS JUST STARTED ROUNDING PEOPLE UP IS SO REAL

Fun reaction. LOL, so much Tarrlock hate. Love the bloodbender reveal. It'll be enjoyable watching you react to what is to come.
First time ever seeing you without a cap. Looks nice!

Iirc Bei Fong did not get fired, she resigned (to dole out vigilante justice lol).

Lin didn’t lose her job she quit so she can go over over and work outside the law.

There’s 3 comics that more or less make up Season 4 of the original Avatar series. They’re canon, check them out when you get the chance!

As we can see, tarlok is cardboard fav

i think fate humor can be funny sometimes
@lasseehrenreich5502 I highly doubt that. At least nowadays probably.
That's just how milo is
@@carlosalbertoalcazarandrad5348 not an excuse.
Polite disagreement. Fart is cool. Very silly
Every episode in season 3 is better than this one. Its that good.
