Takes courage to go in those little towns. More power to you Sarah. Little rural towns are dying and the local people can be a little strange.

Happy is not a place , its what i feel whenever i get to see you. Be ready for more desolation , and tiny little towns. They were prolly stand-offish cause not everyday a perty , tattooed , dread havin cutie like you wanders in. Sure if you wouldve met em , you would find that small town folks are sensibly wary BUT have the biggest hearts. Be safe 🥰

Happy isn't nearly as destitute as this video suggests. And it may be in the "middle of nowhere" but it's only a 30 minute drive from Amarillo and right next to interstate 27 🤣 it has a great school system and a thriving residential area. Most people are either farmer/ranchers or commute to nearby Tulia, Canyon or Amarillo for work. There's a few strong businesses in Happy, and we would definitely like to see more. But it's certainly no ghost town!

That town looks like it was growing and busy at one point, but being so Isolated from bigger cities, it never had a chance of being Big. It's a dying town for sure. If the people looked at you unfriendly, then they will never get to know a person like you, that is as good as Gold, who likes to outwardly express herself and someone who is Happy being themselves and who would be a wonderful friend to have for life. Just look a little deeper and the real you, will draw them in like a magnet. I know that I can see the real you and I'm not disappointed at all.

Interesting town, I noticed on the above the buildings looks like new working air conditioners, so people maybe live above looking down at the street. Was there WIFI in town? Probably StarLink. No flowers, wonder what the little building like gazebos were with the stars & stripes banners. I bet you were the 'talk of the town' fur sure. The bank, naturally. I like your choice of music :) The sign was the only happy vibe & cute, but def. a frown vibe to visitors ! Be safe Sarah & Lil'One !

Ya, small towns usually don’t like strangers. Especially one that looks like a ghost town! In Missouri they call brick roads like that “cobble stone” Not brick, although that’s what they are! 😂 if they had a restaurant open I’m sure there’s someone that would talk to you and tell you about the town. Too bad there wasn’t anyone. But ya, some of these towns are like this. Stay safe!! ❤️❤️

You totally did the right thing uploading this video. The town is so cool looking with all of the brick, the road, the buildings, etc. And the absence of people, except for a few, was nice too. Sometimes I like to just listen to nothing on those rare occasions and places that it is super quiet. The music you chose really helped too.

You can also find small towns to go through in Texas without going through major cities.
If you use Google Maps you can see where to get food & gas but still stay away from huge populations if you want.
But many many people in The big cities are friendly.

The cars were parked in front of the Happy Senior citizen center. People were there to have some fun playing dominoes, quilting or just visiting. This is not a thorough video of the town. The town has a great school where the whole town supports it’s students in all sports and academic endeavors. The town has several churches full of good God loving people doing God’s work. Have no idea what time of day or which day of the week this was shot, but believe me the town is active and people are friendly and welcoming. You have to admit, if you saw this lady walking the streets and videoing you might give her a stare.
