First off, this is an outstanding build out on that jeep! Three years of living in tiny quarters has let you refine what works and what doesn't. There is one thing that I want to add though, and I think it is important in several ways. Those external water jugs really detract from the awesome look of the jeep (and could be an advertisement too😉). Also, having them exposed to the UV and weather elements will quicken their degradation, and possibly affect the water quality. Since they are slim, I am sure you could find a place to carry them inside while driving to and from, and when you get to a camp spot, just set them outside. Watching your video, it also appears there might be a way to mount them on the ceiling above the rear rack, though not sure. Anyway, the bottom line for a fellow non-trusting soul like me, is to keep anything your will ingest away from potential tampering scenarios. Water inside the vehicle. 👍🙂

I have a similar setup, using the goose gear floor, 35L fridge, and lots of stuff like yours. I also mounted a C02 AND compressor and recovery gear over the driver rear footwell. My rack goes on shortly. Thank you for sharing yours and your ideas.
Nice rig there lady. I have the JL also, I get 19 mpg average and have gotten 27 mpg on the way to Colorado. Thanks for showing us your new house. Pet that little one 🐕.
I like it. You really managed to maximize the space out of the Jeep. I like the rear shelf storage and how the bed lays underneath. Really well planned and executed. You're going to get a lot of years out of it. I've decided to pull the rear seats out of my Subaru to build a better bed in there. Become a little more dedicated to camping/overlanding in it next year.
Very nice build Sarah ... I've had people try to camp close out in the wide open desert...don't like this when there is plenty of open space...they must feel a need for protection??? Please people get some space,a lot, camp way far away from other people that want solitude and peace of mind. Thx Sarah

Love the build. I partially live/camp in my Dodge Nitro. My back is just a hatch. Jealous of your cooking set up. Very similar "space" issues. When my second row seats fold down I do still have storage space. One is my mini wine cellar...Teehee...
Great job building out! If you need them next time you drive thru the OKC area drop by and we will gift you a set of brand new hood cowling mounts and new light pods and we will even wire them in to an aux panel for you! They're just sitting in our shop unused (we have too much extra jeep stuff).

buy you a dash cam that has two cams that goes over your rear view mirror thay are easy to install and the rear cam you mount on your back door window then you can see great with stuff blocking your window

Little one definitely likes it ... Mods do cost and have to be kept in priority ,, Because you travel mostly alone ,, And I realize the last Jeep was partly built for some rock crawling ,, I would get recovery equipment high on the list ,, you probably already have some items from the last Jeep but a winch is priceless when needed ... Your Jeep is pretty good the way it is. I wish they were available with a small block V8. Having lots of power available is always a good thing. My Jeep (a '97 Cherokee XJ) has the excellent 4.0 straight 6. After 27 years and 226,000 miles it runs like a top. You look great. You make those pants look great too.

I am glad you said its ok for a single guy to camp close in the middle of the woods. But I would not park that close, I just park close enough that if that if I have trouble at night the other camper could hear my horn and know where I am. Your rig makes me want to buy a Jeep. I sill camp out of my Prius V, a Prius wagon basically. It was my nomad test rig. I decided the nomad life is not for me. I have made some nomad friends out there. My set up is a little bit like yours. My fridge and bed are in the same place. I have a shelf in the back that my legs go under like yours. I don't know how you go with the water you have I carry 8+ gallons with me. All in stainless steel I am trying to get away from plastic. I might see you and the other Sarah at the Fire station fund raiser. I will be traveling again at that time. This could go on the outside of your jeep if you want to carry gas on the sides. Question for ya: what do you like better about living in a vehicle rather than hauling a small trailer like a Scamp? I’m doing my pros & cons list, trying to decide if I want to build a van or just keep my Subaru & pull a Scamp or similar. I would LOVE your opinions & why you chose a vehicle. Do you ever worry about losing your camp spot if you need to run in to town for some reason? Do trailers get stolen out there if you leave it at a camp spot to run in to town? I have so many questions…..TIA 🙌🏼💕👊🏼 Anyone reading this, please leave your advice & opinions too 🤗
I actually started my travels towing a travel trailer. It was too much stress on me and my jeep. Plus I can get to even more secluded areas in nature in just the jeep 🙂 I do miss the actual amenities of the Camper tho 🙂
I always find curried eggs and pickles bad for gas! Can you get an adjustable roll out bed? I reckon that would be a great way to start the day. You could literally roll out of bed😊😊😊

I actually started my travels towing a travel trailer. It was too much stress on me and my jeep. Plus I can get to even more secluded areas in nature in just the jeep 🙂 I do miss the actual amenities of the Camper tho 🙂

I always find curried eggs and pickles bad for gas! Can you get an adjustable roll out bed? I reckon that would be a great way to start the day. You could literally roll out of bed😊😊😊
