The year is 200X. Rapid growth of internet technology has given rise to Network Society.
People carry with them PETs, mobile devices equipped with sentient programs called NetNavis, which they use in order to enjoy the many benefits the network provides.
But even though the network has improved their way of life it has also brought with it new outlets for cybercrime.
The protagonist, Lan Hikari, and his NetNavi, MegaMan.EXE, must work together to solve numerous incidents.

This looks less "80s sci fi" and more "mid 2000's kids scifi movie with limited cgi budget" to me, which certainly fits the era the games released in

Sadly I wasn’t able to watch the Super Mario Bros. movie but then my grandpa mistakenly took me to see the “Megaman Battle a network” Movie and I was fan ever since. I imagine this was how younger kid felt when watching the first MCU for the first time. I feel nostalgic n old. Thank you-JK. That was fun

I can’t forgive the remove of Bass’s purple face, it’s one of his key design components.
Lol. The AI works by feeding prompts into an algorithm. Unfortunately, the more strange / unique design, the harder it will be for the AI to understand because there's nothing to compare it to. So no purple face for Bass this time 😅
Now if someone could draw Battle Network in 90's anime style, I can die happy.

@@xbot02 They have the perfect "Megaman: Into The Megaverse" concept come to think of it, hell such connection was referenced as a Final Smash too.
If Spiderman ever had his own by Final Smash, it may be him opening up a portal the same way (cuz he's SMRT) and have the entire Spiderverse colliding their powers against an opponent.
