Hey bro phyisque is looking great. Looks like compound lifts are working great for your bulking. It's a very different approach from what I see among other pro body builders in India. I have studied the gut microbiome for a long time and a few points that can really help people with their digestion is as follows :- 1. Getting up at sunrise is great, as it sets the circadian cycle( wake and sleep cycle for the microbiome throughout the body). Early morning sun is great for good hormone profile as well( Increase GH, Test, Lower Cortisol). 2. Including pre biotics( Fiber) with each major meal . Fibre should be slowly increased in the diet( to avoid bloating and gas) and water consumption should also be increased simultaneously, otherwise it leads to bloating and cramping). 3. Preferably have curd or yogurt which has active culture. Curd which is sour( Khata dahi). Ghar ka dahi best. Also the best way to have probiotics foods is first thing in the morning on empty stomach. 4. Stop eating 2-3 hours before bed. Just like you need rest, even ur gut microbiome needs rest. So avoid eating past 8' o clock. 5. Eat foods such as pineapple which have enzymes which help in digesting the food even before it reaches the gut. 6. Last but not least is chewing food properly and not drinking water with food. Food already has water and drinking more water dilutes the stomach acid, thus causing difficulty in digestion. Chewing food is important because the the digestion begins in the mouth itself and most of your carbs should already be half digested before it goes to the stomach. Chewing also helps to make the jaw more prominent, so added benefit. All of these points have always been part of our indian culture and Ayurveda but we have unfortunately forgotten it .
