Meet me on the Dance was one of the first songs from synthwave scene I'd listen back in 2014. It's brings me some metanostalgia.
Man women in the 80s were on another level. Im so glad that more and more folks are getting in synthwave...get on the streets and drive or dance your heart out.

Yo Jonathan! I got to say man, I love your channel! I recently fell in love with synthwave and kicking back with you and discovering all these amazing artists has honestly improved my life. Seriously, thanx dude. I thought I should give a local synthwave band in my hometown Seattle a shoutout too, they're called Midnight High, and they play some rad dreampop, I bet you'd dig em. (Avenue is my fav tune by them.) They actually are releasing their first album this weekend too! You think you could plug em on your synthwave and Chill? This is such an awkward pairing if you're familiar with the movie and the movie's sound. Very different. I remember seeing Reckless for the first time in the 90s when Blockbuster was shutting down mom and pop stores everywhere. This movie was on the chopping block immediately due to the larger carboard cover box size. It's also a total forgotten gem. Not a lot of people remember it or speak about it with the other bigger budget teen movies of the 80s. The tone is also very different from the John Hughes classics. It's dark and you can sense just how much the characters in that town hate their bleak lives. Even though it's the typical rich vs poor love story, the northern November-ish weather and views of factories from the school windows sets a depressing mood. Which is perfect for the early 80s new wave and classic rock soundtrack. I do still like this September 87 track on its own though! Thanks for doing a reaction, I've somehow missed out on this song!

Man, so many times iv said...The nostalgia will be the end of us...BUT, we need it, we adore it, we feel it, we depend on it...The thing that this is a song and a movie that has been perfectly put together brings and gives much more to it...The music stops at 8:00 but the thing that you keep watching and experiencing + 2 minutes (until min 10 in this video) it just gives more value to both music and movie...What a life bro 😥 @Jonathan When i get famous (one day) you will be my content responsible and managing director brother 🤘Much love
