    Your boat is a beast! I should’ve gotten that one as well but I went with the smaller BRIS 12.5’ Fish Hunter. They look identical. If it wasn’t for your video it would’ve taken me forever to put it together as their instructions are horrible. So thank you so much for taking the time 😎

    how much trouble do you think is is unpacking and packing for each use, I currently dont have a location to keep a boat inflated so I was going to go the inflatable route but I wonder if one this big makes it much harder for the unpack/pack cycle. It just seems so aluring to have all the extra space to move around with a couple of people on the boat

    • @infiniteoutdooradventures2240
      @infiniteoutdooradventures2240  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It is an absolute nightmare to be honest. Thats why I ended up putting it on a trailer. The weight and odd shape makes it very hard to maneuver, even with wheels and two people. The extra room is great but at a huge sacrifice. I would not purchase one this large unless I was trailering it. Thanks for watching!!!

    • @boatsandoutboards9070
      @boatsandoutboards9070 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you are planning to pack&unpack for each use, never go beyond 270 or 300cm , and definitely buy an airdeck model if you are not fishing. Your 6hp will push a 270 airdeck with 2 people at 20kmph /13mph unless you are both heavyweight.

      If you're gonna put these together everytime you go on water, 270cm/9feet & 6hp is the upper limit for portability.
      Above that size, you end up either selling the boat or buying a trailer.

    I have a 6hp Mercury outboard, do you think it could push this around ok? As a side note I see your newer videos show a smaller boat, did you downsize or get another boat and if so why?

    • @infiniteoutdooradventures2240
      @infiniteoutdooradventures2240  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you for watching the video. A 6 hp motor might get you 5 to 6 mph in this size boat more of a trolling speed. A 10 hp motor can move this boat but it is going to be somewhat slow the minimum I would put on here is a 15 and preferably a 20. I ended up getting rid of all my inflatable boats at one point I was concentrating more on my JetSki‘s but when I decided to get back in the game I definitely wanted to go with something light weight. Also I was looking for something economical as all of these other companies have drastically increased their prices. The majority of these boats are pretty much made very similar to each other so I cannot see the justification for almost double the price for certain boats.

  • @sergiomoran8851
    @sergiomoran8851 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Just came across your video, had a couple of questions for you.
    When storing your boat, do you keep it inflated or will you deflate it?
    I ask because I have an older Avon 8ft inflatable that I recently took out of my storage unit. Been checking it for leaks, it has 2 chambers, cant seem to find any leaks, however within a few hours, the smaller chamber seems to deflate.
    At my last house, I kept the boat fully inflated, hoisted and covered to the side of my garage where the sun wouldn't hit it, still the boat would eventually deflate.
    Is it common for an inflatable boat to lose air after a while?

    • @infiniteoutdooradventures2240
      @infiniteoutdooradventures2240  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It’s always best to keep them inflated partially which will help reduce having any leaks. But I do roll my boats up when I have to store them for long periods of time. Sorry it took so long for such a response.

      @infiniteoutdooradventures2240  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Ouraphet Thanavadee I would definitely go with the Saturn in my honest opinion. I have owned both Saturn and Bris and feel Saturn is better quality and craftsmanship. As many have complained the shape of the Bris 15 ft is cut uneven which makes for an uneven floor and the floorboards have already severely started to fall apart. Last the bag has ripped to shreds. Now the Bris 10ft and Bris Catamaran have held up fine but the 15ft to be honest has been a disappointment. Don’t get me wrong it has its pluses but for the price tag, I couldn’t in good conscious recommend this particular model.

    • @infiniteoutdooradventures2240
      @infiniteoutdooradventures2240  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Liquid Joey thank you for watching they sell mounts you glue onto the sides. I will try to find the link and post it. If you buy a top from a company who sells inflatable boats they will provide them for you but if you buy an actual boat top they are a little hard to find. For the wheels you simply screw a bracket into the transom and use two cotter pins to rotate the wheels up and down in a lock position.

    • @liquidjoey1817
      @liquidjoey1817 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you . I got the wheels in the Mail today and the boat "15.4" will be here Thursday :)
      I also grabbed a 6.5 Hp motor and a 65lb trolling motor since I will be using it mostly in lakes here in Washington state. Do you think the 6.5 will be enough?
      Great job with the videos!

    • @infiniteoutdooradventures2240
      @infiniteoutdooradventures2240  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Liquid Joey The 6.5 is going to be somewhat sluggish on a 15 foot inflatable I originally had a 9.8 on there and could not get it on plane unless I had one person. With a 15 hp I could barely get up on plane with two people and a load. If you purchased a Bris boat upon receiving the boat make sure you thoroughly inspect it because the particular boat I had had many imperfections including a leaking drain valve when I originally purchased it not to mention the boat was cut incorrectly which made it very difficult to put the floor in.

    Do you leave it pumped to the suggested psi or let air out? In water and transporting on trailer.

    • @infiniteoutdooradventures2240
      @infiniteoutdooradventures2240  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Johnny Valencia thanks for watching!! 3 psi is were I inflate my boats if it is winter I might go 3.2 psi. If you decide to leave the boat inflated all of the time leave about 2 psi when not using and fully inflate when ready.

      @johnnyvalencia5734 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Boat is doing great but have an issue when I go too fast
      It’s like an air bubble that starts in the front and makes its way to the back causing the boat to jump. From what I read, it can be crooked keel chamber or it’s under inflated. I know you said 3psi for tubes, but what about the keel? I remember you responding to another person saying it should be 5psi.
      Just want to confirm that is correct psi for the keel
      And
      Have you experienced this?
      Thanks

    • @infiniteoutdooradventures2240

      Johnny Valencia yes 5 psi is correct. What size boat and do you have the air floor or aluminum? You will feel a ripple under the air floor but it should not make the boat jump. As far as the keel if is a little off center that should not be a problem. It might if it is really off. You could always remove it and re glue but be careful. I would actually have the company you bought it from repair or replace the boat if it keeps happening.

      I have the 15.4
      If it’s 5 psi then I definitely have not been inflating to right psi
      I’m gonna take floor off today and make sure it’s lined up right

    I have this modal and the left rear chamber is leaking air inside lower corner against the transome where the transome plastic, floor and tube cone together in the seem. It will be hard to get a patch in area. Any ideas what to use? I was thinking Staybond or g-flex epoxy.

    • @infiniteoutdooradventures2240

      Chris M I would try H66 vinyl cement www.amazon.com/HH-66-PVC-Vinyl-Cement-Brush/dp/B005LL3ZXW
      Or you could try Loctite Marine adhesive. The H66 will look cleaner and it should hold. You also have Stabond but I have never personally used it. shop.inflatableboatparts.com/product/stabond-adhesive-for-pvc-hypalon/
      I hope this help. Also if the boat is under 3 years it should be covered under the warranty.

      Chris M I would try using the H66 first and then applying the product you just showed me on top of it I would think that would work. I have done a lot of research on repairing transoms and it isn’t the easiest thing to do sometimes you have to replace the bottom completely to get a seal. I’ll try to find those videos and send you the link. Are you past the Warranty?

      Lorne Duncan it is a nadala sold on Amazon but I believe there are better out there. This is the second one after the 1st broke and then this one broke but I managed to make it work but not completely as it should. The high-pressure functions should completely shut the pump down when it reaches the desired psi mine just reverts back to the first stage pump which is OK But not worth the money I paid.
