I have a 16ft Bris with a 20hp. Putting together does not get easier. Very important to line everything up. Proper inflation will also make a huge difference in the ride and planing of the boat.
Great video, Just received mine the other day. I was fortunate to have my son help me. My old knees couldn’t take the workout. Lol Thanks for the tutorial very helpful
How well did the 2.5 HP motor do with the BRIS. I plan on buying this dingy to tender my yacht when anchored out. Was you able to run 5 mph. Great video reviewing it👍
if no wind and no current with a light load it'll easily do 5mph but if heavy wind against current and heavy load it is walking pace. If you can man handle a larger outboard do it.
If you want to pack it away, yes. Or you can leave it as is inflated. Can also transport it deflated or partial inflated with the floors in place. That is what I do to fit it in the back of a pickup truck.
For me it’s easy for me to pack up and in pack it and put it together you need exercise in life amd this boat will get you that I have a 15 go and with a better motor you get on plane way faster amd better tho
But with the air floor not as strong I perfer the almium floor amd it’s not that hard to put together first time yes after that it’s easy and more stable then the air floor tho had mine for 3 years and no issues tho
It is PVC 0.9mm thick so you have to take care of it cause it is an inflatable or it will get puncture. Also PVC don't last that long in sunny places. For example in the Bahamas PVC will only last 3years, while Hyperlon will last 10years. In places that don't get much sun like Seattle PVC will last 15years.
The key to snap the side bars on is to make sure the floors are flat (on same plane) as each other as to make a straight line for the bar to snap on. It is a snug fit so if the floor are not flat with each other the side bar will never go on. I put D-rings on the corners of each floor piece so I can raise them into the same plane.
It won't become easier to assemble. It will be especially tough to put it together in a cold morning. You will wish you bought an air deck version. Believe me, I have owned inflatables for 15 Years.
depends on use. Considering that I have a RIB which I like more. The air floor is good for just fun on the water or transportation space limit. The hard floor is for more serious stuff where you're holding/transporting stuff like diving gear or fishing gear. And for the folks that are even more serious get a RIB but there is the transportation limitation, you'll need a pickup truck or larger van. Smaller RIBs are usually used as dinghy on larger boats. I just sold my pickup so am transportation limited so can't use my RIB or my sailboat. In this case an air floor is best.
@@DaBinChe i will only be fishing mainly by myself so i think i will get a air floor boat. Do you know any boat brands that have rod holders built in and don't weigh over 100 lbs
@@victornguyen6058 rod holders are always a add on...but if mainly fishing you have to watch out for hooking the boat and puncturing it. For strictly fishing look into some type of portable non-inflatable. Costco has a good price inflatable air floor if you are going that route.
Very helpful unboxing/ assembly video, thanks for sharing this, I will check to see if you show it in action. Thanks again, it's appreciated!
Thanks a lot for taking time and explaining this..🙏🙏🙏

Great detailed explanations you don't get anywhere else. Thanks

This was great, man. I just got mine in and your video was super helpful for me when I constructed mine.
instaBlaster
Nice set up. looking forward to your adventures on it. Cheers
Nice, going to order this but I will be putting on a 25hp 2 stroke yamaha lol
This boat won't be able to handle 25hp, it will destroy the boat. I think this boat is rated for 10hp or maybe15hp, double check.
@@DaBinChe It's rated for 15hp or 120lbs, my 2stroke yami weighs 105lbs it will be fine

Boa noite irmão, você comprou esse bote aonde?
Poderia me falar o site?
Obrigado.
awesome
You got a good boat seems to be well made wonder if you should have got a 5 hp thank you
too heavy for me to carry
You don’t need a hard floor it makes it more heavy amd you gotta do a lot of put it in amd take it out woth my air floor I don’t and can carry more
Nah you need at least 6hp min for that boat, but the 9.9 is perfect
would love more power but more $$$ and heavy for a small guy like me
So when you inflate or deflate you have to install/remove the aluminum floor pieces each time?

I perfer the air floor less weight and stress to put the floor in plus it runs better to

@ 2:45 you are missing a screw on the plate towards the left bottom.
yeah saw that and got one
What is the max psi for this boat?
Max tubes is 3.6psi recommended is 3psi, Max Keel is 5psi recommended is 4.3psi, Max air floor (if it has one) is 10psi recommended is 8psi
Question, can it be deflated for storage?
Yes, that is how I store mine. But make sure you dry it first.
How this is the boat? Is it a cheapy plastic or is it pretty durable

took me awhile to snap the side bars in.... next goal is to get a gas outboard motor.

How much money was the boat and the motor
about $1k each
Don't you need your registration and title?
yup, sent the paper work in, just waiting for DMV to send it back, usually about 2-3 months
How much did the boat cost
about $1k
Someone tell me where is made that boat...Bris one...?????
China I believe
Short shaft or long shaft motor
short

I have been thinking the same thing...maybe should of gotten an air deck.
Would you buy a boat with aluminum floor again or would u buy the air floor

Watch you oil the swivel barring and oil it often or egine will break apparent
You need a 10 horse to get it on plane.
how is this on the ocean
You're not trying to cross the Atlantic. It is for recreation along the shore or lakes. Could be used as a Dinghy.
next time u set up a boat watch a instruction vid so u know how to actually do it right

That floor is a peace of junk!!!
Not user friendly at all…
👎👎👎
they are all like that...always a trade off. If you want easy get a soft floor but trade off durability
